Getting an error message 2124-0150 when trying to log into Pokémon home. I’ve searched the error code online to no avail.
Message says I can’t log into Home with that account as it is already being used on this console, but they have to be the same accounts so that Home can talk to Sword, Scarlet etc.

That message seems to mean that you're trying to log into a Nintendo account which is already linked to a different user profile on your Switch. Try opening Pokemon Home while making sure you select the right user profile, the one you usually use to connect to the eShop etc should work. It's worth noting that any user profile can access all other profiles' Pokemon save data in Pokemon Home, so if you have a Nintendo account linked to Profile A but you want to use Profile B's save data, you can still do that by using Pokemon Home with Profile A.
You only have to link an account to Home once and then you access the different profiles through the Home app
(Also forgot to mention as part of this issue my son had created a new profile so he could play Shield afresh with a new starter Mon)
