In the UK there are a couple of games I know aren't available on the EShop, Super mario 3d all stars collection and Dying light. Both of which I'll be looking to try on the new console.
Are there any other physical only games or even digital games that are high risk to be removed for licensing or other reasons?

There are more than a few physical-only releases on Switch.

Switch Physical Collection - 1,537 games (as of December 22nd, 2025)
Switch 2 Physical Collection - 4 games (as of December 8th, 2025)

The most immediately visible games in this topic like Jump Force, Espgaluda II, Super Mario 3D All-Stars, aren't these all prominent examples of games that were digitally de-listed?
There's a number of CAVE shooters that got de-listed because the publisher's license expires and they did not opt to renew, however I recall some got picked up by Clear River Games for new physical releases.
It doesn't mean they're physical only, if people still have their old digital purchases available they can still play and redownload those.

There's only a couple truly physically exclusive games I'm aware of.
First is Ring Fit Adventure, Nintendo don't sell the game without the Ring itself.
Second is Demon Throttle, where physical only was a gimmick that Special Reserve Games did. It's still physical only, but was included together in a triple pack with Gunbrella and Gato Roboto recently.
Third is Heaven's Machine, Super Rare Games' notorious "Shorts #1" release.

As long as we have the Country of Japan and Japan Nintendo Fans they will keep making Physical as it sales and only be indie because of budget restraints limitations and or greedy Studio that refuses to see the light at end of tunnel that Physical sells and also isn't Tied to your NSO account and if you want to sell more Physical is the future.

There aren't very many physical exclusives on Switch, though there are quite a few delisted games that are now only available via out-of-print physical copies.

The Skylanders game that launched alongside the Switch was physical only, as were Ring Fit Adventure and the Nintendo Labo series for obvious reasons.

Cooking Mama: Cookstar was very briefly available via the eShop, but was quickly removed due to a rights dispute, but remained readily available at retail for a good while (at least in Australia).

Bill and Ted's Excellent Retro Collection was surprisingly quick to be delisted from the eShop, now only available as a now out-of-print physical release by LRG.

Minecraft: Story Mode Seasons 1 and 2 are no longer available on the eShop either, but have physical releases (both out-of-print and very expensive).

The complete-on-cartridge Just Dance games (2017-2022) are now all discontinued and delisted.

Porygon did nothing wrong.

@SillyG What planet are you from? There are plenty of Physical games for Switch if one actually looks around. Stop being a Debbie Downer because you don't want to doesnt mean you should stop those buyers whom choose to find Physical games.
