I’m busy until FF7 with cyberpunk. Then I’ll be busy with Mario tennis in February. So I’m good for a few months. Haven’t even started legends ZA yet either.
@FishyS it's hard now cause i think nintendo is more privvy to announcing things via social media and nintendo today now, there is never a guarantee because there's a chance we spend a month with a bunch of random announcements and then a sorta nothingburger direct in february
remember; your chicken parm is not safe around me!
@FishyS While Nintendo can easily workaround no Direct on the 1st party side of things by just sharing info on Nintendo Today and social media, that doesn't quite work for the 3rd party side of things. Switch 2 isn't at the point where random reveals and appearances at big non-Nintendo events are common enough yet so at the very least I think we'd get a Partner Showcase.
@Grumblevolcano That Sketchbook demo for Pragmata is one such announcement that'll probably be in the Direct. They said it's coming to consoles soon, so that would be an easy shadow drop that would drum up hype for a major 3rd party release.

November 12: The Super Mario Galaxy Movie Direct – Official trailer reveal for the 2026 film.
So most likely we can expect one for February, one detailing plans for Zelda's 40th anniversary.
@IceClimbers Maybe, though there's also potential RE9 and MH Stories 3 demos to take into account. Might be that a Direct, State of Play and Capcom event all has a demo announcement each.
If the rumour about Sands of Time remake releasing on Friday that Push Square reported on is true, there should theoretically be some sort of event in the coming days as just shadow dropping the game outside an event would be sending the game out to die. Best chance of a Mini/Partner Showcase happening.
@ElRoberico Mostly February but sometimes late January. I’m leaning towards the latter because SEGA didn’t announce the 2026 Sonic game at the Game Awards and Sony had the marketing for Generations and CrossWorlds. Also Marathon’s apparently releasing in March but no specific release date yet.
Not really expecting anymore news out of Nintendo this month outside of Music updates and then promotion for ACNH and RE Requiem. Next month though? That's where the fun begins.
