Topic: Next Nintendo Direct?

My predictions:

• Zelda TotK gets a proper trailer, but no deep dive
• Advance Wars release date, will be before Zelda
• Bayonetta Origins
• Kirby reminder, confirms recent leak
• A LOT of DLC and content updates
• Octopath II final demo
• Disney Illusion Island
• Some 3rd party ports
• The 1st party releases for June/July/August are revealed, probably a Mario sports spinoff and some remasters
• One last thing: Metroid Prime (1 Remaster, release window for 4)

Completely undecided on whether we'll see Pikmin 4 or not, as that could honestly go either way.

My predictions:

1: Golden Sun trilogy remake. With Mario Tennis Aces having came out in 2018, and Mario Golf: Super Rush having came out in 2021, this is the first time since the Gamecube that Camelot hasn't been needed to work on a Mario Sports game. Camelot only really has three series that they make: Mario Tennis, Mario Golf, and Golden Sun. So, unless Nintendo already has Camelot working on Mario Tennis/Golf for the Switch 2, we're probably going to get a new Golden Sun around 2024 - 2025. Since the Golden Sun series is relatively interconnected, it'd be a good idea to make the original trilogy available for modern audiences. I'm almost positive that Grezzo has two major teams for remake development, and while the Miitopia remaster accounts for one of those two games, the other hasn't been heard from since either 2018 or 2019, depending on which team ported Miitopia. So, I peg the second Grezzo team as the developers of this remake.

2: Something from Goodfeel. I'm not entirely sure what it is, but Goodfeel will show off something at the next Nintendo direct. It will initially be pegged for 2024 launch date, but will inevitably get delayed until at least 2025, if not 2026.

3: A new, smaller IP from HAL. HAL likes to do smaller, original projects every couple of years, and the last time we got one of those was back in 2019 with BoxBoy + BoxGirl. While it will be a relatively minor release, those who buy it will probably have a lot of fun with it.

Other than that, I'm assuming mostly 3rd party games, and games that we already know about, plus one or two big surprises.

I know they've already been announced, but it would be nice to have an official release date for the Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters that are supposedly coming this "spring."

My knowledge of Spanish/Portuguese is limited. Is he saying the Switch is geting Kid Icarus: Uprising and Xenoblade X ports? Big if true.

The only way I could see Xenoblade X appear is if it's XC3 DLC wave 4 like how one of the AC games got an AC3 remaster with the expansion pass (Origins or Odyssey, don't remember which).

I hope this Direct doesn't give us cause to crack farm jokes again. I think most of the good ones were exhausted last time.

@ryuuryuunonoroi What I got from Google Translate (its Google Translate, don’t 100% trust it), he says that he expects Zelda, Pikmin, Fire Emblem (updates/trailers, i assume), more Xenoblade 3 DLC, Gamecube NSO games and… at least 2 large third party game announcements/reels (i think?). The Xenoblade X and Kid Icarus part is what he really wants the most.

@octokid Yeah, figures. And that set of predictions isn't too unrealistic either, though Gamecube on NSO would be pretty hype.

@Zybrissa Yeah, I honestly have very low expectations for this next direct. The one from last September left such a sour taste in my mouth, that's pretty much why. There were a couple of good announcements, but other than that, it was a whole lot of nothing.

I am super excited and hyped for the Nintendo Direct tomorrow. I don't really have anything to predict, but I am hoping for more news on the Booster Course Pass for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

Anyway. If Mario Kart gets shown in the Nintendo Direct, what courses are you all hoping for to be in Wave 4 of the Booster Course Pass?
