Topic: Metroid prime 4: I can't get back to the tram area for the last items (flare pool), please help.

I have a little problem with getting back to the tram area in Flare pool. The door is destroyed and I know you need Viola to get to the big lava area, but I collected everything there and I still see 2 items high up. They are at the top of the map, around the tram-area. My internet search resulted in nothing, people say it isn't possible. So I can't 100% the items? If so it can't be helped. Thanks in advance!

Are you sure they aren't items in the pool where you fight the dragon boss? I can guarantee there are no items in the tram area or the areas affected by the collapse of Flame Pool, and if you missed anything (and you will because by this point you still don't have the Thunder Shot needed for some doors), all items are on the accessible areas.

As far as I know, the area that becomes inaccessible doesn't contain any items. I don't think any items in general are missable but some scans are. I had one item in the lava dungeon that took me a bit to find but I can't remember what it was and where.

There's no expansions in the tram area, you're not missing anything after it's destroyed. The only items you have to return for (aside from any you missed the first time) are in the boss arena, behind thunder locks, and behind the rubble in the lava near the bridge Sylux destroyed by the entrance. You're reading the map wrong, and seem to actually be looking at the new expansions in the boss arena like @HammerGalladeBro is saying.

Yeah, for all the game's design issues, it's very good at leaving all areas accessible for collectables that you might have missed. At least until you commit to the end game.

Just backtrack up to the blockage and you'll get the rest from riding into the flare pool on Viola.

Yeah, that was the case. The "floating" items where the items floating on the surface of the lava in the big area. I have everything now. There is still a yellow door at the tram area, but that area can't be reached anymore. Thanks for the reactions guys!

On a sidenote: Lol, I wondered why people hated the green crystals but now I know why. You really have to get every single one of them for 100% completion, and they respawn but in a different color. Luckily there seems to be a unlockable radar, so I'll try it soon. As far as I know I got them all in the shrines.
