Topic: Mario Kart World - Server Connection Error?

Hi,

Just put my Swich 2 on to play MKW and all I'm getting when trying to play online modes is a server connection error, then I click on more details and it says "Server IS operating normally - try again later." anyone else having issues?

Tried restarting the S2, fully powering it down and back on, changing my network connection form 2.4 to 5ghz and back again, nothing seems to be helping. The news section and store are operating fine so I can't see it being an issue with my connection as they load without issue, just when playing MKW it won't connect to servers.

UPDATE: Just found this on reddit, seems I'm not the only one having issues, thank goodness for that, thought I was going to have to throw my router out the window lol

@maxrpg Splatoon 3 is suddenly offline for me after I've played a fair amount this morning. My error code has different numbers (S0029) even though it should be the same problem. Maybe Nintendo itself is having network problems?

All I did earlier was update my Nintendo Switch App along with Nintendo Today and Nintendo Music.

You want to go to Nintendo site and input that error code and find what it says and also contact Nintendo Support as NL doesn't have internal access to address Error Code issues.

Yes, got the same issue this evening.

So it's not even Nintendo... it's Google. Google Cloud just had a massive outage. Nintendo's online servers apparently use it, so that's why. Bummer.

@Dev-N Where does it list that Nintendo uses Google server??? Don't see it listed.
