Topic: Nintendo Music App

I just realized that we only have one GBA game, so I guess I’ll predict that it will be a GBA game. As for which one… idk, I guess Minish Cap or Pokemon could be cool

I also think we're due a Switch game!
Xenoblade really should be on there by now so I wouldn't be surprised if it's that. It would make sense for them to go chronologically, but knowing Nintendo they'll probably slap 3 on first.

I think we're definitely gonna see Ring Fit Adventure at some point as that very much fits in with the whole 'lifestyle' advertising they've done with this app. Likewise, Super Mario Maker 2 could work for some background 'work music' but it might be a bit of an awkward addition as it uses a lot of music from other games.

@Nintoz On it! Probably excessive but would you change any of these rules?

1) Only covers predictions made where the game wasn't pre-revealed.
2) If you make more than 2/3 predictions in a week your prediction won't score.
3) You have to specify a particular game not a series.
4) You only score for your newest predictions.
5) If you skip a week but your previous prediction is correct that counts.
6) If you broke a rule but 2 other people think you were close enough to deserve the win I'll count it.

Rules seem fine to me, I think 3 guesses is a good amount so that there's a decent chance of a winner. The 'first person to predict' thing might cause some friction but I guess that depends on how competitively you take something like this lol.
The only other thing I'd suggest is only being allowed to guess on the Monday.

Removed the first person rule. You are right, it seems a bit harsh.
Limiting to Monday seems a bit harsh as well though. This topic is only really active Mondays and Tuesdays anyway.

Realised as people posted that DKC3 was in the Japanese trailer but we haven't missed on yet.
Let's see how far through the year we can get without missing any as a collective!!

Really hoping for this on Nintendo Music soon. I was hoping this was some sort of announcement for it but just a random post Definitely one of my most wanted OSTs, hopefully we'd also get the songs exclusive the Japanese version with it!

@PikminMarioKirby There's music that's only in the Japanese version of Paper Mario? I don't think I knew that. But yeah, I'd love that game's soundtrack to be made available too, I love a lot of the music from it.

@MarioVillager92 Yeah there's 2 alternate songs in the JP version (that I found).
One is an alternate version of the Partner meeting song:

For this week I’m pretty confident that we’ll get a GBA game. My prediction is Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga since we haven’t gotten a game in that series yet

I'm hoping it's at least a 3DS title this week. We're long overdue at this point.

Legends Z-A was on the longer side so if the alternating pattern continues, this week will be on the shorter side. I'm going to predict DK Land to continue with the DK first week of the month setup that was present in November and January.

I want some 3ds love but as they definitely prioritise games that can be played on Switch natively or through NSO so it seems unlikely.
That said it will be Fire Emblem Awakening's (US) anniversary tomorrow...
