Note: Media create for week 52 was delayed due to the holiday.

Switch hardware sales just shy of 175,000 units for the last week of 2018. For comparison Switch sales at the same time in 2017 were around 115,000 units. Total switch hardware sales in Japan as of 30th Dec 2018 are at around 6.88 million units.
Unsurprisingly on the software front, Smash Bros Ultimate remains at the top of the software charts, selling 275,000 units and pushing total unit sold to 2.35 million, in less than a month. It's chasing down Splatoon 2 to become the best selling Switch game in Japan. I think it's safe to say Smash will breach 3 million units sold in Japan by the end of January 2019.
