I'm cautiously optimistic for this. The Zelda games are among my favorites, and I'd love to see a film done that's based on them...but it could very easily become a trainwreck if handled the wrong way.
God, guns, and guts made America; let's keep all three.
I'll be honest, I didn't see "live action" at first and was WAY more interested when I thought this was Sony Animation. Sony itself is just...whatever, don't care until I see it.
You only need to know about my many obsessions, which consist of Lego, Fortnite, Nintendo, PlayStation and Xbox games, drawing on my Tablet, Dragon Ball Z, My Hero Academia, Thomas The Tank Engine, Star Wars, and Ninjago.
@Kermit1 Oh man, that is a very deep rabbit hole. I am not even sure who I would want to play Link, Zelda and Ganon, plus whoever else they put in the film although...

I can't believe it's being produced by SONY of all companies. Like, I get that they're not just a video game company but man: it's insane to think they signed on for something like this.

Just took a look into Avi Arad's previous work over the past couple years (particularly with Sony as they're the ones actually making this) and his last two credits are on Into the Spiderverse ()....and Morbius ().
My prediction is that link will be similar silent much like the mandolorian and the movie will focus on Zelda. My second prediction is that this movie will be longer than mario and have more of a plot.I am actually vary confident they can pull this movie off.
