Donkey kong has a lot of enemies on his own personal island and they always are after one thing. His bananas. But why would the kremlings or tikis go to so much trouble to get tropical fruits that go bad in a week? There is only one reason to keep them. Banana bread! Yup I did the math on this and I have a thoery that the DK crew are all in the family buisness of making banana bread (its probably the reason the great ape can have his own island). Dk has a whole set up of how it all works.His bananas are grown in the tropical, beach, and forest areas. Then the kongs ceep the bananas in the snow world to ceep them from decomposing. Finally they are sent to the factory worlds where they are chemicly tested and proven sanitary, as well as mutated (and thats why we have giant kong bananas). Every year there is a contest for the best bannana baked goods (held in the carnival world). With the kongs strategy they cant be beat and then the boatloads of prize money and ribbons just come to them (thats why they have DK coins). The group of apes are so rich they can even buy certain 64 bit consoles in a snes games. It seems like the Kongs have got it all but there is always trouble in paridise. The kremlings and tikis (and the possibilities of certain monkeys in balls) are jelous and so they take the chance to break the law of DK island and go and just steal the bananas. Of course we all know what happens next (just play the donkey kong country games) and then the whole cicle starts over. now doesn't that make sense?

To answer jumbif Wrinkly kong is playing an N64 in dkc3 and the theme of mario 64's peach's castle is playing in the back.

To me it seems like King K. Rool has an unexplained hatred for the Kongs, especially with the way he tried to destroy DK island in DK64 so maybe he stole the bananas to try and starve the Kongs to death or maybe thats too dark for these games.
