I've been trying to find a program I can use to convert my videos so I can play them on the Wii via the Photo Channel, but no luck yet. I've tried multiple programs but when I play it says the file is in an unknown format.
Anyone know a way to convert my videos to play on Wii?
The Photo Channel can only view images and play music as far as I know. So you would have to make your video a image slide show for the photo channel. Try Something like tmpgenc and set the output as images.
That or use the browser on the Wii and Orb on your PC and stream your videos from your PC.

i found this, irks, but i've never been to that site before, so i'd run a virus scanner on anything you download from there before installing if i were you, lol. here's Ninty's official support info re: file types and whatnot (and also a list of known compatible cameras that'll create videos that'll play on the Wii). someone in this Support Forums thread suggested a program called "rad video tools" that apparently works to convert videos to play on their Wii.

I tried that first link too, which also didn't work. I'll give the "rad" one a try though.
