Colours are too bright and it is difficult to see. I have no idea what caused this problem as it was fine last time I played it. I have tried several games, so it is definitely a problem with the console/cable. If anyone knows how I can fix this, i would really appreciate it!

Have you tried watching TV on it? Maybe it’s the television, as some TVs have a bright setting and you may have turned it on accidentally. If you tried that and you really think it’s the GC, then I’d talk to @WoomyNNYes He’s super smart and tech-savvy and will most likely know what to do. 😊

@GibsonManiac I had this. Ended up getting a cable from retro gaming cables and now it works fine.

@Apportal My cube died in 2017. I haven't encountered that issue, though.

@GibsonManiac Before you buy anything, I would try hooking up to another tv to verify its an issue with your cube. Your instinct is probably correct, but it doesn't cost anything to double check. @Chris77's story sounds promising.

@Apportal Thanks for the suggestion, but the tv works fine on its own

@WoomyNNYes Thanks, I'll try this. The tv works on it's own, so the only possible problem with the tv could be the AV ports. If not, seems like the only solution is replacing the cable?

@Chris77 Thanks. I guess these things just die out over time? I've been using my GC regularly over the past couple of months and this is the first time I've encountered this problem.

@GibsonManiac mine had not been used for a couple of years as I moved about a bit. It worked fine but then when I got it hooked up again (different TV) I got the issue you described. You could see some stuff but really bright and colours washed out. The cable from retro gaming sorted it. It was a bit of a gamble as I wasn't really sure if it was the TV, the cable or the cube itself.
