I just like that, as a gamer, you get used to all that kind of stuff.
It's instinct that if you beat something up enough in an RPG, gold and/or items will fall out of their corpses. Or if you come across an apparently impassable obstacle, you know to go and look for the 'key'. I'm sure to outsiders it doesn't make a lot of sense, but after playing games for years one stops questioning that sort of thing and just gets on with it!
It's funny you should say that too. It use to be whenever something seemingly impossible happened to me in a game, I'd think that there would be no way I could ever get across. However, after years of playing video games, I now think "there's a key around here somewhere" or "there is a pattern of some sort I'm missing".
from modern warfare mobilized, why is my rank given to me as army rankings, but I play as a marine, and British soldier.
From that, something that bugs me, why does the general of the army go into the field and is ordered around by a marine.
Nothing to do with the above, but I just want to wright this down. I think the next Zelda game should have a story where the three main characters switch locations. Meaning Ganon would be the evil king who rules with his power, Zelda should be the wise forest oracle, and Link should be the Gerudo kid who summons all his courage to take down the evil king. I think something like that is was the series needs to freshen up a bit.
I also think Metroid should go the route of a spin off in the way of Metroid Prime, meaning an FPA, and should be all about the Galactic Federation. But on the 3DS, it should go on as a side scroller featuring Samus.
