Does no one else remember a thread very similar to this that was active not too long ago?
Anyway, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (DS) is definitely the worst game I've ever played. I can attest to it being everything the reviews say it is and worse. It came with a free movie ticket that I used to see the movie for the fourth time, and in retrospect, watching that terrible film four times is still preferable to playing this game. Fun fact: it's tied for the worst score Nintendo Power has ever given out (according to Metacritic).
Scribblenauts is still has the worst controls of any game I've played, and that flaw alone is enough to kill what should've been the best game ever, though it has numerous others that drag it down as well. Even with a minuscule amount of redeeming qualities, Scribblenauts falls so short of its potential that it's still easily the second-worst game I've played.
I'm not one for playing turds, but whenever I get asked this question, "Children of Mana" always seems to come to mind. Repetitive and boring pretty much sums it up...
I'm working on a game that's coming out soon! Cipher Trailer
mortal kombat advance sonic the hedghog geneis (for game boy) movie games cod mw3..... and theres many more but im not no game librarium
I'd like to point out that movie games actually aren't as bad as people like to say. I mean, yes, the bad ones are bad, but there really isn't THAT much of a lack of good ones. Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World on XBLA GoldenEye on N64 Aladdin on Genesis Spiderman 2 on PS2 Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers on GCN The Simpsons Movie The Game on Xbox 360 Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue on N64 the Super Star Wars games on SNES Jurassic Park in arcades Back to the Future on PSN X-Men Origins: Wolverine on 360 Batman on NES
So yeah. Movie games are better than people like to think. Game MOVIES though......
The best strategy in the game: go up stairs and pause balls.

I think I killed like 100 hours on the LoTR: Two Towers game on the GBA. That one was awesome beyond awesome. Diablo ripoff? Yes. But a great one. I'd pay for that on the VC. Also, the Thor game was pretty good. Loved GoldenEye, and a few others I had no regrets about getting but couldn't name right off the bat
EDIT: In response to @Dark-Insanity. I didn't miss the entire point of the thread
ok well new thing, epic movies have epic games and crappy movies have crappy games m kay
Xmen Origins and Chronicles of Ridick are both pretty terrible movies and their games are great. But don't worry, I get what you're getting at
Also, yeah, Jurassic Park on SNES is okay. But the reason I didn't list it is because the lack of a save feature. It totally kills the game for me. Also the first person parts are terrible.
Oh, and I haven't played them in a long time, but I remember The Incredibles and Spongebob Squarepants The Movie being actually pretty good games.

Won't happen. EA doesn't own any rights of Lord of the Rings now, so they can't publish the games any longer.
I'm sure I played some pretty bad shovelware for the NES, SNES and Genesis back before I knew any better, but Quest 64 is the first game that pops into my head when this question is asked.
