videogames are probably the reason I never started taking drugs. While all my schoolmates were getting addicted to drugs and having Pot parties I was staying home playing my Nintendo. I'd rather be addicted to videogames than something that's gonna ruin my life. People think I'm weird that way but that's how I party. Order a Pizza and have a Game a thon.
Smoking pot doesn't necessarily ruin your life, eating pizza's and staying indoors can be worse to your health.
When my mom handed me a GBA, a GB copy of Tetris, Mario Kart Super Circuit, I was hooked for life. Even more, I started playing when I was about 3, so that settles everything. (My first game was F-Zero, lol)
I play because it reminds me of my childhood and I play them because it's fun.
It's something that I like to escape to for a hour or so outside of the hectic worlds that are the Internet and Earth. Videogames made up my childhood (Litterally) from 1998 to 2003.
@Faron: At least with junk foods and staying indoors, you can change your food habits and become more active and possibly reverse the harmful damage made to your body. Once you smoke pot, you become addicted and it permanenty ruins your health.
