“Dev-N” is a play on my real name “Devin” as well as a clever Nintendo reference. I used to go by “Dev9417” or even “Croctopus” from Donkey Kong Country, but I like “Dev-N” so much that it’s my username for good!

However, it's unique to Nintendo Life. I only go by it here because I have to. I go by “Dev” everywhere else.

@ShieldHero Well, "Devin" is a name with multiple spellings, so the dash is just a stand-in and "N" is for Nintendo.

...Alright, it might be more cheesy than clever, but I've always been awful about coming up with a cool username. Just roll with it.
