Rocket League snow day (instead of a ball, it's large hockey puck).
Mario 3D World Man, that musical tune switch level in world 5 is tough! Failed to get to the end with ten tries.

Might go ride some ramp, now that it's getting warm-ish. Kinda like a real life video game, as dumb as that analogy may sound.

Well, I got WWE 2K 2022 Deluxe, @Pizzamorg .... So, do tell me all about the options? What I really need is the one where the AI just lets me do whatever I want to them but I guess that isn't available!

I finally started Final Fantasy 8! This is the last mainline final fantasy game on switch I have yet to play! I'm currently 5 hours in and I just have to say...the card minigame in this and the one in FF9 are so much fun lol.

Add me on switch if you like Xenoblade :)

Woo! Did it come down in price already? Hope you enjoy!

Yeah the options menu is kinda confusing. So if you go into gameplay options, there is a separate tab called balancing which'll give you loads of sliders for loads of different things to tune the experience.

Yeah, 1 of the keysites that do discounted ones for Steam (& other platforms) had the Deluxe for £40, @Pizzamorg .... it's just finished downloading, so I'll have a look around! With a game like that, might as well get the version with all the superstars, although I only really want about half of them
There's still the create your own as well, right?

Ooo can you send me a link? I wonder if I can get a cheap upgrade.

And yes you can create a wrestler, but the wrestler you use in the MyRise (the story mode) is isolated to that mode only for some reason.

Dunno where you'd look for the season pass on it's own, @Pizzamorg .... As you already have the base game, the code for Deluxe would cost more than that part https://www.allkeyshop.com/blog/en-gb/ is the main site I use for game codes, if that helps for the future!
I swear this game cheats, even on easy & with all the sliders adjusted to what should be practically practice mode, though.

Yeah the controls are really hard to get to grips with at first, and the tag matches are pure BS. But I found it got way easier when I tweaked things - too easy, honestly lol I have been slowly trying to increase it. Also cheers for the link!

Well, I mostly mean that even after setting the AI reversal rates to 0, they still do it about 1/4 of the time, @Pizzamorg .... I've tried to set everything to what should be easiest
While I've only ever tried 2k20 of this series & much, I do (very casually) indulge in MK11 & Tekken 7, so perhaps that's the problem?
Still, I've spent awhile creating alternative attire for several 'superstars' & a couple of my own, lol

I think it depends on the move, weirdly enough. I have the reversal rates set to like ten points below the default on easy (lol) and very rarely have my finishers reversed. But I have seen some people online that have more positional sigs/finishers (like running knees, super kicks etc) and they seem to miss or be reversed all the time. My sig is a package piledriver and the burning lariat, with the burning hammer as my finish (although they call it a brain buster on commentary for some reason).

Yeah, it's probably timings related, @Pizzamorg .... I've turned weight detection off & stuff, too! Perhaps when I've played more actual matches with the AI instead of doing alternative attire....

I've changed my wrestlers appearance in MyRise about 8 times lol. Obsessed, so much customisation, I love it!

I have made more of a striker style wrestler, with a few high impact moves (even though I picked the technician class), so it is a lot of standing strikes or grounded joint manipulation. As such, I don't have stuff like pop up moves. But I've seen some stuff, like the pop up super kick finisher and that looks awesome, assuming you have the right weight balance (or have it turned off).

Still working on a single story file of Metroid Prime Hunters to see if it rolls over at 100 hours and to see if the Guardians/Hunters count rolls into 5 digits (currently at 5,403 defeated). In terms of gameplay, I think I can say now from this current experience that Celestial Archives is my favorite area. I do still love Arcterra the most from a lore/atmosphere perspective.

I'm also very close to seeing the credits roll for Tri Force Heroes. I believe I have three more dungeons to go until I save Princess Styla from her "curse." I felt like I was going to have to drag myself over the finish line for this game after some of my experiences in the Ruins. Grim Temple and Floating Garden were much more enjoyable experiences though and, if the trend continues, Tri Force Heroes could end on a great note.

Well, it didn't take me long to create a custom superstar, @Pizzamorg .... It's alt attires for the others that takes awhile, since there's quite a few of them! Dunno about all the different moves yet, so that's things I'll be looking into more

I gotta be honest, I am over 20 hours now and am still having quite a tough time getting the balance right with the difficulty. Within just a few points on some sliders I get matches so lopsided the commentary laugh about it - and honestly when it is that easy, it isn't much fun.

But then within just a couple of points I am having matches where I hit the opponent with like three finishers, bust them open and they still end up no selling everything, hitting me with some absolutely unrelenting chain of attacks I never get the chance to counter for some reason. Their body is entirely red, and I am basically not even hurt, yet I will not get off the mat and the CPU wins anyway. Feels completely busted. And this is without me touching the actual difficulty options, just me dropping the slider by like four points.

It is honestly kinda infuriating. I am literally dropping the sliders by like one point a match just trying to get the balance right and it just seems hopeless.

Life to the living, death to the dead.

BruceCM

I'm quite happy leaving my sliders to the easiest for now, at least, @Pizzamorg .... But I think the game probably needs a little tweaking! You can't be the only player experiencing such stuff Dunno if there's any proper experts in that series to offer any help, since I'm very new to it all myself, anyway

I've been flip-flopping between a lot recently.

Firstly, I've been gripped by a shiny hunting bug in all of the Switch era Pokemon games, hunting for multiple left right and centre. Some of my recent acquisitions include 3 Murkrow and a Mareep in BDSP, Articuno, Zapdos and Tyrantrum from events and Shelmet in SwSh and TOO MANY TO LIST in PLA (though my favourites are definitely an Alpha Shinx, Basculin, Lilligant and a ? Unown that I hunted for myself). I've just perfected all the Sinnoh starters dex entries in PLA so I'll probably be going for them next, in addition to Galarian Corsola, Klefki and Sentret.

I've also been getting back into Pokemon Unite thanks to the new season (gotta get that free new Absol Holowear) and, in celebration, I decided to get a new character in Gardevoir. It takes a long time to get to Gardevoir from the pitifully weak Ralts and meagre Kirlia, but once you do, absolutely NOTHING can stop you. It's Power Trip: The Character and I'm loving them right now because of it.

Lastly, I've started The Great Ace Attorney Adventures up again and am currently about midway through Chapter 4-ish. It's a bit difficult to start up AA since you really have to be prepared for the strain it puts on your voice but when you play it, you just get completely lost in the world, characters, music, everything really. Cannot wait to continue because I love the voices I've given to each of the characters (I made Gregson into Cockney Gumshoe and I think that's perfect honestly).
