Completed the Alice in Wonderland golden pass in Disney Speedstorm this morning. I've played a few battle passes for a few F2P games over the years, Disney Speedstorm had the best progression. Unlike the one I did in Paladins, it didn't feel like a chore and completed it in two weeks. I collected all 50 tiers, and can enjoy the rest of the season.

Also, Alice is now a level 41 racer. She's not only my first four star racer, but now my fastest racer in the game. I unlocked her best suit and car design from the pass.

Just completed my museum in Animal Crossing: New Horizons! Let's go! Took me a little while... but I finally did it.

Also came back to Donkey Kong Bananza. I'm doing the postgame right now, where I gotta do the bananza rehearsals in hopes of Pauline getting to make a new song idea. I only have one rehearsal left, which is the snake one.

@D-Star92, congratulations on getting all the bugs! Last I checked, I have around half of them and I can't be bothered to find the rest, at least not right now. It's een several months since I last played ACNH, I bet my island is full of weeds right now 🤣.

@ShieldHero Thanks! I now have all the bugs, fish, sea creatures, and artwork. I happened to get all the bugs last. Really happy it's all complete! I do want to play more of Happy Home Paradise, I've finished my 20th home last time I played. It happens to me as well... I would take a hiatus from ACNH and I would see weeds all over the place, lol.

Just made a little more progress in Happy Home Paradise, I finished one more vacay home today. I wanna try to slowly but surely chip away at it. I tend to overthink while I design those homes, so I do one home per session.

I’m still meandering in Hollow Knight Silksong! I’m going for 100% completion. I also have been dipping in and out of Trails in the Sky; and I’m looking forward to Hades 2 in a couple of days.

Pokémon Legends Arceus.
I've already finished the main story, and now I'm working on completing the Pokédex (going for research level 10 for all Pokémon).

Pokémon Ruby. I love the atmosphere, exploration and goofy writing, but oh my god how do people tolerate the grinding?

Silksong, although I'm really just 'getting through it' at this point. Have reached what I believe to be the final stage/s of Act2, having just collected the 3rd melody.

I don't actually think I'm really enjoying it that much upon reflection, and I generally enjoy challenging games. (My favorite game of all time is Sekiro, and recently absolutely loved Nine Sols / Returnal / Lies of P / Shadow of the Erdtree / Blasphemous 1 & 2 etc)

Silksong just feels so relentlessly ... tough ? Just as you clear 1 horrendous area (Mount Fey for the skill upgrade) you then move on to something even worse (Bilewater). The boss fights are definitely a highlight for me, but everything in between is just filling me with dread.

I really really respect Team Cherry for making the game they wanted to make, and not compromising/pandering to the cries of an 'easy mode'. But I do think there is a line, in which if only a tiny % of your player base is able to push through then perhaps the difficulty just needs dialling down a tiny bit? I might check the trophy data, would be keen to see how many are dropping off.

I want to love this game, but I just can't! Which is so strange as Nine Sols kicked my ass a ton, but it never felt as insurmountable as elements of Silksong do.

I think I'm ready for a palette cleanser game, either Hades 2 or more likely FF Tactics

Im playing smaller amounts of silksong, just because of how difficult it can be.
My main game on S2 is actually a smaller title, Dark Deity 2. It's such a banger. The story is a little wild, but the voice acting and animations are really nice for an indie. And the gameplay is stellar, really nails that old school FE vibe if anyone wants to stay busy until the latest FE comes out in 2026. I love this game.

I recently came back to Pokemon Legends: Arceus. I made it to Cobalt Coastlands and filled my Pokedex some more there. The wild Pokemon in that area are pretty tough.

@D-Star92 Alright to getting back to playing it! You’re talking about one of my favorite Pokemon games on Switch. And you’re in one of my favorite spots in the game as well. Do continue playing it though, there’s something about the gameplay that is engaging, immersive and fun, and just wants to make me play more even if there’s nothing else to do in the game. Because of that, it’s great to know we will be getting a new Legends game soon. I could honestly take three more games in the series afterwards. Goes to show how expansive my interest in Legends would be.

As for the difficulty, maybe level up in the previous open zone to prepare for Cobalt Coastlands. You can also bring a fast Pokemon with you in hopes of freeing wild Pokemon that may be too hard to beat. If you do decide to level up, I’m sure it won’t take too long before going back to exploring Cobalt Coastlands.

I finally decided to shelve Hollow Knight: Silksong. I have completed it twice, with my second playthrogh actually getting 100% without a guide. I think it might be my new favorite game of all time—a feat that I never thought possible. I’m now playing Hades 2 on the Switch Lite and it runs surprisingly well. The story is starting to pick up traction, and it’s also subverting my expectations. It’s more or less more of the same from the first game, but expanded on and has a lot more intriguing mysteries. I’m excited to see where it goes, if I can it out alive.

@PeterTomlan86 Nice, glad to see it's one of your favorites... I got this game from a game voucher after finishing Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. While I'm not a huge Pokemon fan, I am having a good time with Arceus for sure. Plus I did hear it's one of the better Pokemon games on the Switch. My party is around level 39-45 if that's what you're wondering.

Hades 2!! Which is REALLY good, and I managed to win against both the boss down below and up the summit so that's really cool. Going to try out the demo for Harvestella and Star Ocean to check which one I should get first before the sales end.

On Switch 2 I've been playing Mario Kart World, Hollow Knight: Silksong, and just recently picked up Hades II.

Massively enjoying all three and although most of my Silksong playtime is on PS5, I'm playing it on the Switch 2 as well because I can.

Booted Metroid Prime 3 on my Wii U through Prime Trilogy today. I started it a week or 2 ago, but instead of playing it I've been replaying Professor Layton and the Curious Village most of my playing time. Pretty good so far (just got the Ice Missiles). It's nice that despite it having a more of a action sci-fi vibe with it's story and style, it still has the Metroid Prime feel and aesthetic.

And on the topic, Curious Village has been a fun replaythrough, even with the massive amount of wandering that game has you do. The quirky charm carries it (knowing a good amount of the puzzles and their mechanics helps too).

Oh, and I've been harvesting Gem Apples in Team Kirby Clash Deluxe. Almost got enough for the next fight (I'm in the Decisive Battlefield area)!

I feel like I am so close to finishing off Borderlands 3. I finally got to the Great Vault and finished Troy off and all that's left is Tyreen, I think. Unfortunately I had to stop for the night since I got work tomorrow. Hopefully I get some time tomorrow to finish the main story.

I can not find new games to buy. Where are the games? I think I will play Toy Commander on my Dreamcast.

Bought a new game today, Frogun on PC. Got it thanks to a GOG sale. So far, I really like it. The game is adorable, and gives me some old school 3D platforming fun. Will admit, the race level took a couple of tries to do. Overall I like it, reminds me of N64/PS1 era of games. It's clear the game is going for that style too.
