@Vortexeo E33 is a gem right? So far for me its my GOTY, just slightly edging out KCD2.
Quite mind-blowing that the dev team for E33 achieved the impressive sales numbers recently announced, considering this is a GamePass day1 (!)
Perhaps another release in the second half of this year will take my GOTY spot, but I think I'll still hope that E33 wins the award - sends a great message to the games industry in general, still an appetite for lovingly crafted single player games, turn based combat isn't dead etc. I like also how it is clearly influenced by classics JRPGs (FF series, even mentioned in interview with devs) but it still manages to 'be its own thing'. The combat in particular is great, like Persona crossed with Sekiro
GOG is having their summer sale, so I picked up a new game, Pizza Tycoon (also known as Pizza Connection in Europe, it's going by that name on GOG, but the title screen uses the Pizza Tycoon name). Been playing that.
I like pizza, I also enjoy business sim PC games like Theme Park, Theme Hospital, Roller Coaster Tycoon, so thought this would be a good game to try. I open a pizza restaurant, make pizza, get customers, and it kept failing. It's only one part of the game, the other part is flying from city to city, buying "ice cream," (yes, that's in quotes for a reason) and then reselling it to make more money to help your pizza business more. Game surprises me, it's much different than other "tycoon" games I played, and I really like it so far.
Also, because of a GOG newsletter coupon, I got the other two games in the series with a good discount, and been playing Pizza Connection 3, though that feels more like a normal tycoon game, than the original one does.

Been playing It Takes Two with my son on the Series X and looking to finish that up today. Its ok. For me I preferred A Way Out alot more but I think that's due to It Takes Two being more of a platformer then A Way Out. The camera can be a bit wonky at times leading to cheap deaths and some of the bosses have phases that you cant really do anything against but die. The story however is very charming and probably the main reason for me wanting to finish it, otherwise I probably wouldn't have dropped this game awhile ago. For me its just not my type of game gameplay wise.

A bit of an update to the games I’ve been playing…
In Colorful Stage! over the weekend, I actually have now full combo’d 71 charts on Master! If I remember what specific songs I full combo’d, it was Intergalactic Bound and BRING IT ON. I was actually pretty close to getting a full combo on the latter once, but I screwed up near the end, but I tried again and finally got it this time! I also went back to Expert difficulty to play some of my favorite songs, and today I got a full combo on another song I struggled with, called Brand New Day. Felt very satisfying getting that full combo since it was a song I nearly got the hand of but some of the hold notes threw me off. I did attempt to full combo SEKAI-chan to KAFU-chan no Otsukai Gassou Kyoku, since it’s also another song I do have a bit of a hang of on Expert (plus I really like the song and it’s stupidly comedic tone) but I sadly failed to get a full combo again. The chart is littered with so many thin hold notes and small tap notes that are so hard to not miss, since my fat fingers get off the tap line and it registers as a miss, and then the final parts of the song are so hard to keep up with and confuse me. I’ll keep attempting it though.
Not sure what other songs to really play, but I saw they added a new song today, so I’ll get to that soon, but they are going to announce July’s song schedule tomorrow, so I can’t wait for that, especially since one of my favorite songs is getting added soon.
For Deadeye Derby, I managed a few matches and won all of them, besides one against a Nutty player that absolutely trashed me the second the match started. Unfortunately I haven’t gotten too many coins from the matches I’ve played, and I haven’t yet spent them on upgrades for my raft in Rabid Rapids since I’m still trying to build up my coins so I can upgrade both my slingshot and raft, but the low amount of coins I earned also comes from the character I was playing as. I was playing as Petunia for almost all the matches, but I forgot Cuddles is the only playable character with the ability to slightly increase the amount of coins you get from battles and chests, so I swapped to him after remembering that.
I have gotten plenty more ammo from the daily machine spin, which will definitely help me with the upcoming bosses, though I still want to make sure that I can also get a bit more health kits too. So far I’m sure I’ve only sadly gotten one or two medium health kits from the machine. Getting health kits, as well as diamonds, is really hard when your not a paying player…
Been wanting to take a break from my backlog, so I played some of the following...
Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics - I tried out a good chunk of the games already. A few of them I got decent at, while others I got kind of destroyed by the CPU, lol. I can see this being fun with a friend online. I even unlocked the Mario-themed cards for a couple games.
Pac-Man Museum + - Just casually playing some of the games on this one. I'm happy to see Pac-Man Arrangement being included, I used to play that on Namco Museum on the PS2. I'm not too huge into playing with such a narrow screen though. It's not awful or anything, I know they were originally arcade games, but I'd have to focus on the screen a bit more. Granted, I was playing in handheld mode, so maybe it's better on the TV. Maybe it supports tate mode, but I don't have an accessory for playing the Switch in handheld mode with the vertical screen orientation.

I didn't expect the cute Kiwi birds with their job as package and mail delivery employees have quite challenging mini games.
Deciphering the hidden messages was quite hard challenge as I have to read and figure it out the words and it took longer time to figure it out.
Thanks to GOG and Steam sales, a lot of PC gaming lately. This is why I haven't been on the forum as much.
To start, I'm still playing Pizza Tycoon and Pizza Connection 3. Slowly building up my pizza empire in both games. Small note, Pizza Connection 3 is on Switch as Pizza Tycoon, which is a fun coincidence since Pizza Tycoon from 1994 (which is what I'm playing) was called Pizza Connection in Europe.
During the Steam sale, I got Black Mesa. What a great remake of Half-Life, it's really well done.
Speaking of FPS, I also got Heretic and Hexen Collection on GOG, so been playing Hexen. Classic game, also different than other Doom engine games I played. A lot of puzzle solving and exploration. I like it so far.
Tonight on my Switch, played some Disney Speedstorm just to do some online races as Ariel.

Been playing the latest remake of Klonoa. Maybe because I loved the game so much when I played it on Wii, but this game is shorter than I remember. I don't know why I think that though, since its a 2D platformer with 12 levels, did I think these levels were more than a half hour long or something?
after beating a link to the past and ocarina of time (soooo good) im starting majoras mask and i love the dark tone of it so far!!! the world and the three day cycle is so…enchanting? its really good so far though.
also been playing a lot of Mario Kart World w family mainly, been trying to get gold and three stars on knockout tour, but its DIFFICULT. got the first one so far!
also bought gris, so might dive into that looks so pretty 🎀

Just completed Sonic Riders, got enough RIngs to buy all the Extreme Gears and got all the Gold Emblems in Mission Mode to unlock the Chaos Emerald/Super Sonic.
I was able to do it quickly because my save file from my rental days of 2006 was still on my Memory Card, and to my surprise there were way fewer Missions to get Gold Emblems (only about 10 Missions out of 100) but a few Extreme Gears were pending purchase.

@HammerGalladeBro That's a solid, unique racing game. Shame it never really got anywhere past the first one (although I did enjoy Zero Gravity, I still need to play Free Riders).
Even with Crossworlds bringing back Extreme Gears, I would like to see the series (or the original) come back in some way.

Saturday, played more Pizza Tycoon. Started to expand my pizza empire by opening a new restaurant. Also, chicken ended up trending in the game, so I made some chicken pizzas. One from the included cookbook, and one on my own which ended up being a chicken parm pizza. It may be a cult classic, but this is giving into my love for business strategy games and cooking.
Also been playing Heretic, which is like fantasy Doom. Completed the first episode today.
Similarly, I played Hexen online with my friend today, we co-oped the first hub, Seven Portals.

Super Mario Party Jamboree - Recently I finished Party Planner Trek and Toad's Item Factory, and my Koopathlon skill rank is now an A. Also been trying out the other motion controlled modes, Rhythm Kitchen is a fun distraction. I did get a lot of achievements while playing the other modes and the minigames, and I now only have four more to get the 5-star rank. Been playing as Daisy lately too! 🌼
Tetris Effect Connected - I like Tetris, and it's a nice game to just casually play. I played in the last two weekend events and played a few online matches. I think I like it more than Tetris 99, actually.

@konicstar Yeah. I like Sonic Riders and Zero Gravity (never played Free Riders), but something about Extreme Gears in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is not hitting the same as in the Sonic Riders series. Maybe it's me, but I feel Extreme Gears go slower in CrossWorlds than in the original series. I would understand if it were for gameplay reasons, though.

Still on my Gamecube roll, I decided it's finally time to give a go to a game I have had for about 4 years but never actually played.
This is one the internet tells me I should play...
Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem
Now that I discovered on February that I may actually have some interest in horror games thanks to Amanda the Adventurer and The Exit 8, I figured I might give this one a try, a real one this time.
