@stuffgamer That's the spirit. We're just asking to really offend someone if we continue down this path, and since this is a video game site no one wants that.
"The government of the United States is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion."
You can type well sure, but you left out the importance of the Age of Reason and deism in the foundation of the country. This country wasn't created solely by Christians. Don't be so arrogant as to think otherwise.
How is what I said arrogant in the least? And when did I say the country was created solely by Christians?
Anyway, I appreciate your compliment of my writing.

You don't get special treatment for being a Christian over any other religion any more than you are penalized.
But they are. Christians are not being treated equally in all parts of America. He's right to say that certain powerful groups are attempting to downplay the importance of Christianity in founding America and its ideals as well as deny Christians equal treatment, all in an effort to be more "sensitive" to other religious beliefs. Sounds ironic, no?
And by the way, Stuffgamer1, you argue perfectly well and very respectfully, which is more than I can say for some others here...

Hey guys, that Obama yo' mama thing was heard by me on a radio show and I thought it was amusing. I guess the author of that phrase thinks that Obama is acting like everyone's mama...? Oh well, it was to be a little lighthearted jest, that is all. As for the rest of my comments, I truly do believe that there is a worldwide conspiracy, that's what the Bible has to say about our history. There are forces of good and evil working to win our minds, hearts... and souls. Do some research on the matter at the very least, before calling me a nut or some such thing.
@Nathan I think most people were just having some fun with you and the way your comment read, not REALLY calling you a nut. As for the Obama thing, I just think its best not to mention politics (in any way) in an already charged thread.

Well I'm sorry you feel that way Adam. If you ever want to go back and read that article you will find that the bible is one of the most valid books ever. For all the Christians on this site, I thank God for you. I also thank God for everyone else on this site. You guys are wonderful people! I will conntinue praying for all of you, whether you want it or not. One last thing, just think about where you will be spending eternity.
Yea, neither me. Comments like that are a bit condescending. Regardless of the seemingly innocent, good intentions, it implies that you know what's best for everyone. I'm a big boy. I can decide this whether there's a flying spaghetti monster looking after my soul or not.

(There is.)
Well said, it really is quite annoying. If people respect your beliefs, you should respect theirs.
Haha, that's one hilarious concept, but it's pretty sad that people take the time to write or even read all of this. It's painful for me to get past the first few lines of the Lolcat Genesis.

Normally people never care about this kind of topics in "real life", but for some reason they are incredibly attractive to everybody on any internet forums and such threads end up being the longest, most polemic and controversial. And they often get locked too... to re-appear with other titles later
My question is: why do we care about other's views? are we ever satisfied enough with our own beliefs?
