@Magician wow. Didn't know he passed. Yeah, i love the roots. Had their first 3 albums. Before Jimmy Fallon, in the 2000s, here in philly, i used to end up at bars or small dance clubs where questlove was spinning. I regret missing Camp Lo when they appeared at a favorite club. Really wanted to see them play Luchini live. Such a jam
lately im listening the music of Childish Gambino. It seems to be very comercial, but I like the way this music can relax and make you been in a summer mood.
The only thing that bugs me about Childish Gambino is he's presented as a woke rapper but when you actually listen to him he's not really woke, especially his earlier stuff. Not that I care about how woke he is, I listen to far worse things than him, it just that it comes off as insincere.
I'm in the mood for something rugged. Que up some Cube.
