@Wewalia I agree, when it came to 3d all stars, damn, the camera was wack as a get out, mario slips and slides all over the play, some levels ask you to some how see when stuff is with again, a camera that just doesn't work.
No hate on anyone that likes it, you like it you like it, I also like it, its just not a good game in my opinion, then again I didn't beat it in 3d all stars, maybe I should get back to that.

@Wewalia I agree haha. Well, I do like the level design, my problem is how the gameplay feels. I think that the game hasn't aged as well as people say, not even close. Sure, you can adjust to it, specially if you have played it multiple times, but playing it after playing more recent entries or more modern 3D platformers always makes me notice how clunky it actually is. It's like everything is slippery all the time.
@DarthNocturnal Understandable, one of my favorite games of all time, but have a nice day.
@Anti-Matter I actually think fludd was just fine, sure a little messy sometimes, but I thought it worked when it needed to, and didn't really have issue with it, but sunshine isn't a shooter like rachet and clank is, so I think the comparison is a little unfair.

@Wewalia As someone who doesn't love Mario 64, I kind of have to disagree with you on that front. Yes, it feels dated and it absolutely has some jankiness with the movement and camera. But the fact that all these years later it's still fun, where a lot of it's contemporaries like Crash Bandicoot 1 and Sonic Adventure feel significantly more dated and awkward in comparison, speaks volumes as to how much meticulous attention and care was put into it. To me, I don't really love it that much. Have I beaten the game and plan on 100%ing it? Absolutely. The fact that literally anyone can still play it today and still have huge amounts of fun with it means, at least to me, that it is fundamentally brilliant. I don't even love 64 and even I have to admit that, at least to myself!
@DarthNocturnal
(All jokes aside, I understand if it's not your favourite game in the series but to me, the atmosphere and creativity on display really isn't matched by any other game I've played, let alone 3D Mario's. Spinning in circles on sphere planets is wack though, I will give you that)
I'd say Super Mario Sunshine is my least favorite 3D Mario game overall. I love its tropical setting and main stages, and FLUDD is indeed fun to use, but it definitely has its janky moments. I don't really agree with how the game makes you beat Shadow Mario in all seven worlds before finishing the game, I would have made it so that you'd just collect 70 Shine Sprites to get to Corona Mountain. That would have made the blue coins and bonus stages a lot more meaningful. And yeah...a lot of the bonus stages can be rather unfair at times.

Favorite game: Super Mario 3D World
AKA MarioVillager92. Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I want to get to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
@Snatcher That's definitely the word. I LOVE Crash Bandicoot myself, played the N Sane Trilogy for the first time on holiday in Lanzarote and it was fantastic (I even beat 1 and 2 during my time there!). I need to get around to playing It's About Time but, for some bizarre reason, they don't have it physically here in Europe. You know, the game with a digital file size of TEN AND A HALF GIGABYTES?!
Mario Sunshine is still fun but at the end of the day, cleaning is not as fun as platforming, I've never been as into the hovee nozzle as other comparable abilities in other games, and the game has some pretty clear issues that makes it far more annoying to complete than it probably should.
Honestly I kinda want the current Mario team to make a new Sunshine, as I feel like they'd make a better version of what Sunshine was going for. Also they would actually find things to use the Turbo nozzle for (what a waste of a cool ability).
@Snatcher Yup, pretty much! Also, I see that you have a new profile picture. I don't know who it is though, it seems like something from Skull Girls.
Oh, another somewhat unpopular opinion or at least divisive: I think that games nowadays are much better in general. Sure, there's amazing classics and the gaming industry has many shady aspects that have damaged it's image, but there'so many games coming out and competing against each other and so much progress in terms of development that, at least to me, it's evident that we are getting better products and that we have much more variety to choose. It's just that it's hard to top our first gaming impressions and keep things as revolutionary as they felt in those days, but it doesn't mean that games aren't getting better and in fact, they have to do more to get our attention and fulfill standards that get constantly higher. Nostalgia hits people too hard to actually notice this sometimes. Just to be clear, not every entry is better than it's predecessor though, this is more about gaming as a whole and of course that there are exceptions but it doesn't change that in general most series are expanding and improving.
@Fizza And for some stupid reason, I got it digital, regret it kinda because I still want to 100% the game.
@roy130390 Your the first person here to get what my profile picture was, yes its filia, but through the power of editing, I was able to add some snatcher color on to her, (I love skull girls a lot, just played the game for the first time a few weeks ago)
I also agree with you on that front, game have just gotten better over time, I mean, just look at all the amazing indies we have gotten just because of games growth.

@Fizza I can’t deny that the game is fun and the level design is pretty good. I’d like to correct my previous comment: Mario 64 s a good game. It just doesnt really stand up to most modern 3d Mario games. It also just aged really badly
I feel like it's a bit much to delete an account because others discuss your opinions in a more negative light. Some of the stuff you say have a massive leap in logic, and doesn't always logically connect. For example, that thing you said in the Legends Arceus thread, where you talked about how the game won't be the best in the series because other JRPGS do the mechanics in Arceus better, when "Best in the series" means you're comparing different entries in the series to one another, not that you're comparing other JRPGs. People obviously pointed that flaw in your logic out, because of how wrong it was.
As for other opinions, it's because you feel the need to constantly post them whenever you see a discussion ongoing about those games you hold those opinions on, or at some times you feel the need to drag some games down needlessly for absolutely no reason at all.
I know this probably won't change your mind about deleting your account, and you've probably already done it, but I honestly just don't think it's a responsible or reasonable reaction towards getting criticized upon your opinions. @Snaplocket
