King of Fighters XIII is one of the best fighting games out there, IMO. It's fun, it's fluid, it's majorly deep both in combat and evasion (unlike street Fighter, you can dodge roll back and forth to evade attacks), and it's chock full of personality. And it's down to around $30 on Amazon. I really suggest getting it, especially if you can get it for the PS3, because then I can have someone to fight. XD

Thanks! I'll look into it if I get the extra cash (still planning on getting KH3D, NSMB2, and DOA5 as they come out). Not sure which system I'd get it for yet, though. the PS3 has a hard drive (for any extras I might want to get), unlike the 360 (we got the 4gb one). In contrast, the 360 has HD visuals (were using the cables from our old 360, because the 4gb model only has the standard ones), while the PS3 is in standard def (because the one we bought came with the standard cables).

I was going to get SSF4: AE (Finally) but of course they announced that SF 25th anniversary collection that I really want. So, I'm not sure if I should just wait and get the collection or just get the single game and sell it later than get the collection.
Anyone know any good games that are similar to those in the Mega Man Zero series? I just love the fast gameplay and setting of the title. Also, I'm not looking for something similar to the ZX series.
Good question...I suggest asking the Steam thread about A.R.E.S., an Indie PC game. I haven't played it but it looks a bit similar. Otherwise, I always thought Mega Man Zero was a one-of-a-kind series. Only other game that I thought was even remotely similar is Shantae, and even then, it has a completely different feel. It just has the lite adventure elements and a few other small things.

I've played A.R.E.S. and while the setting is somewhat similar, it's much more of a slow platformer rather than a fast, action-packed title like one of the Zero games. I've looked for a while now and it's a shame that I haven't found anything that remotely resembles any Mega Man Zero game in terms of gameplay or setting. I guess Mega Man Zero hits such a perfect balance in speedy action where few other games have even attempted to venture into that type of gameplay.

I'm finally going to get Megaman 9. It's a shame it's taken me this long to purchase my favorite Megaman game. How are the controls to anyone who played it with a 360 controller? The analogue stick work nice and responsively? I can't wait to finally play it. Anyways, the help I really need is after getti hat game I'll have points left over. So should I get Super Meat Boy or Megaman 10?
I found MM10 pretty disappointing. As for Super Meatboy, play the demo at least. It's a pretty good one that shows off different elements of the game. There's also a demo for Mega Man 9 (and literally every other XBLA game) so you can see how it feels before you decide whether or not to buy it.
Well, loving Megaman 9 right now. The controls are still solid too, that's great. I mostly hear Megaman 10 is a bit dissapointing compared to 9. And I loved the demo for Super Meat Boy. Turns out it's 1200 points though. Should I wait for a sale or get Sonic CD? Or Bomberman Live. I've played the demo for hours with my brother.
Do you have Portal: Still Alive, or Battlefield 1943? I don't know how you feel about first person games, but I really enjoyed these two (especially Portal).

How much is portal on XBLA? I may just go with that. How good is it compared to 2. I really want 2, but I want to play 1 first.

If I'm not mistaken, it was 1200 points when I got it (a couple of years ago), but they may have lowered the price (I don't frequent the 360 too often, so I'm not really sure how they do things). Still, even at the 1200 point range, it's still one of my favorite 360 games.
EDIT: Haven't had the chance to play 2 yet unfortunately, so I can't compare them.
Ya I might be getting $200 of free spending,I was wondering what should I get with it and my choices are:
A)a few 3ds games/eshop cards
B)Ipod touch
C)3ds xl
what do you guys think?
Do you have any sort of recent MP3 player already? If not, I'd definitely go with the Touch. Otherwise, I'd probably save it for the upcoming 3DS games in the fall.

Totally agree with Mickey on this one. With Epic Mickey 2: Power of Illusion, Castlevania and other big 3DS games coming out here soon I would just put that money away, but than again I dont know if those are big games for you or not.
