Truth be told theres really no such thing as global warming its just something that bored politicians like Al Gore made up to keep themselves busy.

it sticks around 90-100 here in summer, but the problem isn't the temp so much as it is the high humidity. even 70 degrees feels stuffy when it's near 100% humid, and since i'm on the riverbank it always is.

as far as global warming goes i don't want to start an argument here but the theory originated long before Al Gore or any other politician started talking about it. oddly enough it began with scientists in peer reviewed studies, which is just the place you'd expect a scientific theory to be formed... quite suspicious, if you ask me... much like MURDER. :0

I live in Orlando, Florida. You don't know what hot and humid feels like. Our June, July, and August might as well be living in a sauna. But we win out when it comes to October - March. Those months are fantastic. Well, normally, anyway. I don't know why this October is still hot and humid.

Leaves have already started changing here and it's cooling down too. Too bad this means that winter's coming, which means unexpected weather, lots of snow and walking to class in the snow.

Climate change is very real, though in most areas the difference in temperature is only a few degrees warmer than average but I've witnessed severe climate change in Phoenix Arizona since I can remember

The temeratures averaged about 95-96ºF in the hottest part of summer in the mid 90's but now our highest average temperature is 110ºF and speaking of 110º Friday is supposed to be nearly 110ºF even though our average high is only 88ºF at this time of the year

Uh huh... You are right "climate change" is real because the climate has constantly been changing long before humans and will continue to do so long after humans are gone because of the Sun!

True but it usually takes hundreds or thousands of years for the climate to change as much as it has in the past 20 years, it's not how much the climate has changed that is the problem, it's how fast it's changing

Really it hasnt change that fast in the past 20 years its just that our tools to detect that sort of thing have become better and more accurate thats all. Its no different now than say 50 or even 100 years ago. The only thing that has changed is the technology to monitor it and because of that we are more well aware of it than the people years ago.

maybe you don't live in a god forsaken carbon-filled wasteland like I do, I don't know, but here in Iowa it's been 80 degrees with high humidity for the past two weeks straight. It's been the exact same summer day over and over and according to the weather it'll stay that way for at least another week. this is bull****.

I live in Iowa as well but it's been all cool and nice out. Jogging weather. Hell it even rained in the morning.

Just for you.

Pretty mild Fall so far here in Tulsa. Same old mid-70s to mid-80s. Just mediocre so far, hardly any rain or anything remarkable. Summer here was BY FAR the worst I've ever experienced in my 34 years, though. 100+ degrees pretty much the entire Summer, with several 110s, and came within a degree of beating the all-time hottest temperature here. Miserable Summer in that and other ways. I'd spend every last dollar to go on vacation if it's like this again next year. I grew up in Colorado, so extreme heat makes me extremely unhappy!

It rained like crazy last week where I live, but now it's finally starting to feel like autumn.
