There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

Sadly, I think you are correct.

Also, the Nintendo DS will become obsolete eventually. The 3DS has taken the world by storm in just a month!

I'm back (for the moment)!

Justin Bieber will be obsolete, as will Miley Cyrus and basically every popular artists now.

Doubt it. Something identical would take its place.

sex?

I meant the internet itself, not what it's used for.

@AlexBelmont: Chuck Norris became obsolete a long time ago.

I think traditional schools may become obsolete within a few decades, at least in nations with the right level of technology. The only problem is parents may not be willing to give up the babysitting services that schools currently provide. Other than that, the tech is pretty much in place for students to get an education through virtual classrooms. Some virtual schools are already up and running.

If you find yourself spiritually drifting (as I was for far too many years), remember that Jesus can and will walk across the water to reach you and bring you back to shore.

Toasters.

With so many alternative and easy ways toast toast besides using a toaster (oven, grill, etc.), it will surely be obsolete, sadly.

The only way I know how to make toast is with a toaster lol. Never heard of any other way.

Are you serious? How do you think they made toast before toasters were invented?

For the record you don't toast "toast". o-o You 'toast' bread. XD

Unfortunatly physical media.
Newspapers
Homephones
Dial-up internet
Film like for cameras
Phonebooks
Fax machines
Catalogs

Do people still have these?

I can see everything going pretty much, you can buy stuff for cheaper prices off on the internet including home delivery. Same with food, movies, games, newspapers etc.

I don't think Desktops will leave, I find them more reliable than a Laptop to be honest. Not saying Laptops are rubbish, they're easy to use and portable, but I really can't be bothered lugging a computer around with me... that's what an iPhone is for.

Magazines, books and newspapers... to be honest, I don't even know how they're still around. You can extract most of the information right from the computer without having to pay 85p+ for a piece of paper that you'll eventually throw into the rubbish bin.

You can stream TV from your computer too, so goodbye TV. Same with music and films.

This is the future: high speed internet surfing couch potatoes... this world is gonna reek of fatty people sitting in front of their Mac Book Elite playing iGames and watching robotic soap operas. :/

Like in Wall-E? Speaking of that...Earth will be obsolete sooner or later. But not during any of our lifetimes. We will look for other planets in our giant spaceship when Earth is unfit to live on.

My Pikmin are ready.

Eh, I'd say cell phones. It may take a decade or two, but I say we'll have watches the project a hologram of a video chat screen. Also, laptops and, dare I say it, even tablets. I remember seeing a mock-up of a flat computer a while back that rolled up like a silicon placemat.

Also: everything else that's electronic.

I'm pretty sure I think I'm funnier than I really am.

First person to quote a certain Hotel Mario meme gets a free slap in the face, courtesy of me.

Toasters FTL. What we need is a breader. That turns toast back into uncooked bread.
