Desktop computers. (Ipads, laptops and android phones will take their place)
Unfortunatly physical media.
Newspapers
Homephones
Dial-up internet
Film like for cameras
Phonebooks
Fax machines
Catalogs

I still see Video game stores sticking around there are some people like me who prefer a physical copy of something over a digital. Heck I am sure that after PSN's problems alot of people are thinking that way now. I can see Video game stores offering both digital and hard copies but I dont see the hard copies going away for a long time.

@Emil987: I dont see Desktop computers going away either due to the fact that an I pad, Laptop and phone still cant compete with a killer desktop gaming computer. Yeah I understand some laptops can pull off a gaming laptop but ask any true computer gamer or a computer builder which is better for gaming a laptop or desktop 9 out of 10 will say desktop.

I do see Newspapers and Homephones going the way of the dinosaur and Video Rental stores. In fact I am seeing it now,

Throw in underwear as well and I fully support this line of thought.

Why do you think Gas Stations will disappear? I mean, I do think we should not use fuel for our cars (we can fly a rocket to the moon but we can't find an alternative to 'fuel' for cars?)

I do think that Desktop computers may disappear in the near future considering how computers are essentially going mobile at a rapid rate than ever before. But I don't want to see them go.

With so many alternative and easy ways toast toast besides using a toaster (oven, grill, etc.), it will surely be obsolete, sadly.
