Topic: They're coming after your VPN's now

When is this madness ever going to stop, all in the name of 'the online safety act' "We don't want children stumbling across pornography or other harmful material blah blah blah" THEN EDUCATE THE PARENTS THEN, YOU KNOW THE ONES THAT HAD THE KIDS IN THE FIRST PLACE!
All this government control just has to stop, what's laughable is that this government is going to lower the voting age and then restrict all the media that they get to see/hear.
I'm sorry to keep ranting but this kind of Dystopian control just infuriates me and it can only be the beginning of something much worse if it isn't stopped NOW!
Furthermore I'd like to ask people if this act has restricted anything that you consume online and what have you done to get around this, if anything can be done.
All I can see it doing is to force more and more people into using the Dark Web and then where are all your 'safe kids' going to be.. safe kids don't make me effin' laugh, we all know what this is really about They want to see and monitor all that you are doing at all times.
I will never ever let this lie and will do everything in my power to negate and fight against it!

Yeah, I definitely agree that it feels like a power grab, with "protecting the kids" as an excuse. If parents really wanted their kids to be protected, they would do it themselves.
