Anyone watching new Lower Decks?

I like how they aren’t precious about Star Trek, whilst they clearly love Trek because the references are so deep cut only hardcore fans will know them yet they go for the jugular like flat out calling Captain Janeway a murder.

Voyager was my first proper Trek show, I was too young for TOD and Next Gen but I may have seen an odd episode, where as Voyager I remember watching week to week as a kid and it never occurred to me think of it as the “kooky” one which they perfectly summed it up as.

Good on them for promoting the cast, them being ensigns forever despite going on adventures would have gotten boring.

I can’t wait to play as the Cardassians so I can make those damn dirty Bajoran workers see 5 lights!

I am going to give Discovery a whirl. I don’t know why I never watched it, but I am kinda excited or should I watch season 3 of Picard which I have also not seen.

@Themagusx1 I feel Discovery gets unfairly moaned about, it’s understandable though as people wanted a Next Gen/Voyager type show rather than Discovery which does it’s own thing. There’s a couple of canon issues I have but I like the show. Sonequa Martin-Green is an amazing actress, she has gravitas and electricity that keeps me watching in awe of her.

Season 3 of Picard is must see for Trek fans, it is basically a 10 hour Next Gen movie.

So how dangerous are Tribbles in comparison with Moopsy, an adorable creature that can literally drink your bones through your body?
