@Fizza I'm not a huge fan but I was pleasantly surprised by The Owl House's cutesy charm. I only checked it out as someone on twitter made a really strong case on why it's such a great show and the argument was too strong to at least not give it a chance and I was won over. It's also a rare case I actually got into the shipping too, I normally hate the chase of romance and just prefer to see a proper functional couple. There's alot better shows out there yet for sugar pop it's pretty good.

@Eagly @Kermit1 If you don't want to google why your favourite food is gonna give you cancer could try googling The FDA Handbook to see how much rat poop, maggots and human hair is legally allowed to be your food.

@Eagly Had heard about that myself, was not very happy to put it mildly. As long as they feel like a grand enough finale though, I don't think I'll mind too much. Now if you'll excuse me, I actually have to get back to watching it because good lord I don't think I've had something grab me by the throat like this since playing AA for the first time last year.

Since Disney+ added some new episodes since watching it, watched some more Alice's Wonderland Bakery recently. Been awhile since I've watched it, forgot how much of a fun light hearted show it is. I still like it, even though it's a Disney Junior show. Will admit, I did get emotional. In one episode where Alice and Fergie (the rabbit) made the same recipe, only to learn it was made by both their great grandparents, Alice and the rabbit from the original Disney movie, Alice in Wonderland.

I'm also watching episodes of TrollsTopia, but also thinking about getting back into watching The Ghost and Molly McGee. Also, I really should start Kipo and the Age of the Wonderbeasts, my Trolls World Tour DVD keeps reminding me, and I keep putting it off. Anyone else seen Kipo?

@Fizza I'm glad to hear something good on this one, sometimes I see pictures and fanart of the main character pop up while online. From the sounds of it, it sounds like something I would enjoy. If I find the time, I think I should give this one a watch. Haven't found a new show to watch since TrollsTopia ended (even though, I don't mind rewatching episodes of shows I like).

@Eagly Just started The Owl House this morning. I only wanted to watch an episode or two, now I'm like four episodes in. That was a rather impressive first episode too. Liking the characters a lot so far, and loving the fantasy world this is taking place in. Find Luz relatable as I prefer fantasy stuff over most real life shows and situations. Imagine going to a camp where you're forced to think inside the box, boring. King is also hilarious.

Also, I knew I heard Eda's voice from somewhere too, I was like "why does she sound like a Jimmy Neutron villain," and surely enough, my guess was right.

Really enjoying this one so far. Going to tag @Fizza to read my thoughts on The Owl House too.

@Kermit1 how dare you, that’s a beloved Cornish delicacy! When the Queen was ill making her death bed confession that she regretted having all those Kenyans killed she ate a sweet slice of stargazy pie to cheer herself up.

No mention of Legion, Invincible, Young Justice, Jessica Jones (season 1 and just forgot the rest), The Maxx, Misfits, Batman '66, Future Man, I Am Not Okay With This, Spawn, Heroes (again season 1 and just forgot the rest), Harley Quinn, Preacher, Batman: The Animated Series, Constantine or The Sandman? Boo!

@Kermit1 Meh, it's fine but it really needs Spider Man snapping Mary Jane's neck! Say what you will about The Amazing Spider Man but they understood how incompenet Spider Man, who is a snotty kid who wants to play superhero, truly is and needs to be punished by fridging his romantic interest otherwise how will he learn.

I did forgot Agent Carter and Dark Angel though.

@Eagly Chuck Misfits and Future Man on top of the list, it has a similar vibe to Doom Patrol and Umbrella Academy of dysfunctional messed up people forced to save the world and be heroes with strong comedic tones. Misfits gets overlooked by 'mericans as it's a British show and Future Man is way better than it has any right to be.

As well as Legion which is easily the best superhero show I've seen. Although it is too dense and thinky for some people.

Some TV watching today, four more episodes of the Owl House on Disney+. Really liking where this is heading so far too. So far, interesting how Amity who's revealed to be cold and mean towards Luz at first, is actually nice deep down. Getting tsundere vibes actually. Come to think of it, it's giving me anime vibes in general, and I like it.

For some light-hearted Halloween fun, True Tricky Treats Day on Netflix.

@Eagly I legit thought this was a trailer to a low budget indie movie that happened to shared the name Family Matters.... until Laura and Harriet showed up. Sad part, I'm probably going to watch it if it shows up on streaming because I'm a sucker for Christmas stuff, lol

BTW, eight episodes into Owl House now.

@Eagly If Netflix does pick it up that would be cool, but if they don't I'm not complaining I still got stuff to watch.

I was bored and decided to rewatch total drama island, and Chris is the best character in any show.

Finished Season 1 and just started Season 2 (about 4-5 episodes in) and holy mother of Hooty these two are absolutely adorable as a couple.

Took me a bit to get into the swing of things with S2 (first two episodes didn't do too much for me) but the other 3? WOW did they get stuck into things. King being the son of the tyrant instead of either being the tyrant or nobody special? Eda and Lilith's family getting involved? ANOTHER HUMAN?! It's all so goddamn good dude and I cannot wait to see it develop over the course of the season.

Also the illusion scene in Episode 5 might have genuinely given me nightmares. AND I LOVE IT.
