2. Final Fight 3 - For Metro City
I actually like Magnet Man more but I don't think a song from game where there are seven other levels that could be the 'first level' should be in a first level tournament.
3. Mario Kart: Double Dash - Luigi Circuit
Both are very good songs and are much better than the other four songs in these match-ups but I think Luigi Circuit is a bit better.

You people are heartless. Prelude should've at least made it to the second round.

This is my opinion along with many others. It was pretty boring and repetitive. I listened to the full 6 min of it and never really sparked anything....

Mario Kart Double Dash

Had a hard time choosing between Final Fight 3 even though it was my nomination but I listened to both songs and I have to say Final Fight 3 first level song always gets me pumped and just seems perfect to put you in the fighting mood.

Meh. Both were pretty mediocre in my opinion.

2. Mega Man 3 - Magnet Man
This was an alright NES theme.

3. Mario Kart: Double Dash!! - Luigi Circuit
These two themes were the only good ones in this round, I think. I absolutely love Double Dash's first track theme, and Sonic 3's is just extremely catchy and boppin' :3

Also, I think we should change the title of this to Best First Level & Overworld Theme to avoid further confusions and controversies among the participants.

1) Sonic Adventure 2 - Escape from the City Was an easy choice for me. Thought the Bloodlines track was just alright but personally I'm not a fan of hearing the Genesis synth when it comes to games like CV.

2) Mega Man 3 - Magnet Man Didn't think much of the Final fight theme but it got the job done. When Magnet man's theme really picks up, it really gets catchy and cheerful making it the perfect stage for players to choose first.

3) Mario Kart: Double Dash - Luigi Circuit Both songs were really good, but I'd go with Double Dash's theme since it was not only catchy but it is iconic for a MK theme.

I'm just gonna vote for City Escape. Just want to make sure that awesome track keep going.

2: Mega Man 3 - I don't really like voting for this one because I feel that stage themes from non-linear games like this don't really have a place in this tournament, but eh whatever. Is good song.
3: Mario Kart: Double Dash!! - I actually like the Angel Island Zone tune much more, but this Sonic 3 version is just not my favorite version. This Mario Kart song has always been a favorite of mine, however.

Oh, sorry, false alarm. I read 'track' as 'truck' after seeing City Escape...
I'll do my vote later.

1. Sonic Adventure 2: I still remember the lyrics to City Escape over 10 years later, but Castlvania Bloodlines also sounds awesome.
2.Final Fight 3: It's Capcom against Capcpom, while both themes are good, i'm gonna vote for Final Fight 3
3. Mario Kart: Double Dash: I really liked the whistle and trumpet combination in that song.
