1. Super Mario World - Overworld
I don't see how this possibly couldn't win this round.
2. Mega Man 3 - Spark Man
3. Rhythm Thief and the Emperor's Treasure - Show Time
This song is what got me interested in the demo. I also like how it starts out similar to "Radical Highway/Vengeance Is Mine" from Sonic Adventure 2... But I also am not voting for AC:WW because I really don't think it qualifies as a first level.
1. Super Mario World - Overworld
The Monkey Ball song is extremely upbeat and exciting, but it can't match this classic tune.
2. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask - Deku Palace
Seeing as how Kokiri Forest got in the tournament, this song probably should have been Clock Town instead. (Sorry @HappyMask)
I love my Mega Man music, but this theme is just so strange and mysterious, it made a great first impression.
3. Animal Crossing: Wild World - Working for Tom Nook
I'll just go ahead and say that this is mostly nostalgia, but c'mon, how can you hate the music in Animal Crossing? It's just so soothing.
Super Mario World-Overworld
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask-Deku Palace
No competition here, those horns easily get me every time.

1.) Super Mario World:Overworld - Both are very good tracks imo but this one was much more catchier, cheerful, and fun to listen to for me.
2.) Mega Man 3 - This one honestly surprised me because I absolutely love every zelda ost out there including Deku Palace over just about any megaman theme. BUT I felt this time around Deku Palace is one of the weakest Zelda themes out there to be compared to Megaman 3's energetic, hectic & harmonies beat all in one!
3.) RT&tET: Show Time - wild world is a nice low key tune, that's it, and not much more going on in it. Show Time on the other hand is a full fledged song with well put together music notes.

1) Super Mario World: Overworld - Sorry about the other game but this was no competition.
2) Spark Man Stage - The other was nice, but really nowhere near as catchy.
3) Rhythm Thief and the Emperor's Treasure: Show Time - I love Animal Crossing games, and the music is always very tranquil, but in this case the track wasn't as good as some other Animal Crossing ones, and even though I have no love for RT+tET I still think the song deserves the spot more.
1. Super Mario World - Overworld
So wonderful, which is why I nominated it :3
2. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask - Deku Palace
Still a little confused how Mega Man stages even qualify, but okay, Majora's Mask beats it anyways.
3. Animal Crossing: Wild World - Working For Tom Nook
Nostalgia <3 I just love how this is so calm yet it has a sense of impending adventure and good times~
Still a little confused how Mega Man stages even qualify, but okay, Majora's Mask beats it anyways.
If you think about it games like Earthbound and Majora's Mask don't even have levels, so they're arguably less qualified to be part of this competition than Mega Man stages are. No use arguing over such trivialities.

Both Earthbound and Majora's Mask have nominations that are of the first themes played when you play the game. Mega Man is just a little iffy considering any of the levels could be considered a "first level" per say.
I wasn't arguing though, I believe I'm aloud to share my thoughts when I cast my vote.
1) Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz - Monkey Island
There's no denying that SMW's theme is another iconic track from the series but I just enjoy the dynamic and energetic tone of Super Monkey ball. It was a tough call but even if it pains me to vote against a game I held with high regard, I'm leaning towards Monkey ball with this one.
2) Mega Man 3 - Spark Man
Aside from Shadow, Proto and Magnet man's theme, I find this to be the highlights of MM3's OST. It was too energetic and catchy for me to vote against.
3) Rhythm Thief and the Emperor's Treasure - Show Time
I just love how jazzy and upbeat how this track is and it really got me interested in the game itself(Which I have yet to play). I especially liked how they transitioned to allegro. While I think AC's theme was relaxing and pleasant but plain, Rhythm Thief's track has alot more going for it.
1. Super Mario World - Overworld
Monkey Island is a very good song but it can't beat this classic.
2. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask - Deku Palace
Spark Man's theme is awesome but not quite as good as the Deku Palace music. I wouldn't have voted for it anyway as Robot Master level themes have no place in a first level them tournament seeing as you can face them in any order you like.
3. Animal Crossing: Wild World/City Folk - Working for Nook
A lovely relaxing song.
1. Super Mario World - Overworld
Though, I hope Monkey Island gets a few more votes, it's a great song.
2. Mega Man 3 - Spark Man
3. Rhythm Thief & the Emperor's Treasure - Showtime
I just saw what one of my two songs are up against on the new bracket.
It has no chance...
