Some of you may already be familiar with the Nintendo Life VGM Tounament, where the community nominates songs in a certain category and vote to see which song comes out on top. In this special thread, we will focus only on games and game series instead of the broader categories in the sister thread. I hope you all enjoy it and have fun listening to the music. What better way to start off this thread than to have a Super Mario Galaxy themed tournament? The nominations are open to all, so each person may nominate 1 song from either Super Mario Galaxy, or Super Mario Galaxy 2. I'm aiming to have 32 songs in all, so that should give everyone a chance to get a song in. Let the nominations begin!

I assumed this thread would be for specific franchises, eg. Best Pokémon, Mario, Dragon Quest Music - this seems awfully specific. Also, still having 32 nominations for only two games seems a bit much - I'm sure that'll cover the soundtrack of both games. No offense - not trying to sound too critical to this thread just starting up. :3

Like I stated in the OP, this thread will cover both games, and series. Really it depends on how many games are in the series. In Mario's case, I'd rather do ones for the Galaxy series, or the Paper Mario series, or the 2D Platformers than just do the whole Mario series. I intend to let you all decide some of the later tournaments as well. Why I chose 32 songs, well, it was either that or 16. Having 32 songs gives everyone a chance to nominate one, and I didn't want to exclude anyone.
