I hope everyone else has had as much fun as I have doing this and we've finally reached the end of this journey. Start posting ideas for the theme of the next tournament!

Let's start this new theme like we start all our games: Best Title Screen Music!

Crap, I missed the final! I would have voted for Another winter but the SMG credits theme is still a worthy winner.

@CapnPancakez Thanks for keeping this thread alive, its been a lot of fun voting in this tournament.

I would rather keep it at 4 nominations, I don't mind if it goes on for a while and even if it we did all nominate 4 tracks, there aren't as many people voting in the tournament as there were when it started so there still wouldn't be as many nominations but if everyone else would prefer 2 nominations per person, I don't mind.

Best boss theme? I'd like to see that.

Or maybe it could be best battle theme so that it includes regular battle themes too or we could do those separately. Best opening theme is another idea I thought of. Also, I think the new themed tournaments should be in a new thread, that way newcomers wouldn't get confused by the title.

I kinda like the idea of a Best Title Screen Music contest. If everyone else agrees, then we can start nominating songs.

It's a pretty cool idea. I'm all for it.

I'm for it but as I said before, I think all future tournaments should be in a new thread. That way, CapnPancakez can change the title as he didn't create this topic so newcomers wouldn't be confused.

I think it is a good idea to start a new thread too. You could link back to this thread in the op for the new one to archive previous contests, and allow those who are interested to still see them long after they have been buried.

Just so you all know, I might not be able to get anything up until next week since I'm still on vacation. I will try and check with TBD about creating a new thread so I can change the title though.

I like those ideas. We could also do tournaments for best songs from different consoles. I also thought of:
Best rival battle themes (any song for battles between rivals, not just songs called Rival battle like in Pokemon and SMT: Devil survivor)
Best town themes
Best dungeon themes
Best level/stage/area themes

Those are swell ideas also!

Just leave it to me and @FonistofCruxis, we'll keep the themes covered.

I think I already mentioned Best Credits. However, in a lot of games there's an ending theme and a credits theme. So good thinking.
