So I finished Return of the mammalians a while ago and it was fun and whatever but one thing really had me confused: If we defeated mr.grizz why is grizzco still running?
If there's a sunken scroll or something that explains it then my bad but what exactly happened here?
@Gamergirl4 Valid point. Although, there is supposed to be a new twist to Salmon Run coming in a future update. Perhaps that will fill in that blank. Or, if a new single player game dlc comes, perhaps that will address that plot point.
In the Salmon Run lobby, the grizzco bear statue (with salmon in it's mouth) is replaced with a salmon statue (with a bear in it's mouth) after beating the single player. Is that tiny, graphical change not enough?😁 Problem solved. JK.
It was a cool boss battle (I loved it), and I'm just glad we still have Salmon Run. So, I'm not stressing it.😁
@Gamergirl4 There's a prevailing theory that Lil' Judd is now the one running Grizzco (and by extension Salmon Run) after Grizz's defeat. Between a headset that he gets only after beating Story Mode, his Tableturf deck being comprised of both Grizzco sleeves and Salmon Run enemies and his desire to kill Judd and take his place as Turf War judge....yeah this is one messed up cat.

Mr. Grizz just floats around Earth like a moon, so he's not dead, but still out of commission as far as running a business. I definitely agree with the theory that Li'l Judd runs Grizzco now. I'd go so far as to say that Li'l Judd will be the next bad guy after Grizz, whether it's in the "large scale paid DLC" story or Splatoon 4.
More than anything, I just wonder what purpose gold eggs serve now?
