Kind of took an unannounced break, after new years, got distracted with games I was playing on my Switch and PC (Shadow Generation has been excellent) and other things going on in my life. Hoping to be back during the week.
Probably won't be posting that much now. My depression is coming back, unfortunately... so I'll try to prioritize my mental health more. Hopefully I'll feel better soon. I won't be leaving Nintendo Life, just feel it's best for me to take a break. You all take care of yourselves, OK?

I feel you. Being bipolar myself, I know all too well how social media, or any media, can trigger someone. Taking a break from them is a good way to protect yourself and shows a certain strength that you're able to recognize that.

It's been working good for me, actually. Might still need some more time to recover, but as mentioned earlier, I'm getting a bit better now.

I’m back and here’s my backlog progress.
I managed to perfect shy guys finish last in TOK and honestly **** shy guys finish last!
How is anyone supposed perfect it without using the switch capture feature or using your phone camera? And ring scramble level 3 is just pure garbage because I got stuck with a pattern that I swear is impossible even with a video that helps explain it. I even tried to time it right to get ring scramble level 3 as my first mini game but of course one of my perfect game tries ended with me doing all the minigames EXCEPT ring scramble level 3 and I failed! I got so frustrated with SGFL that I decided to get a couple statues in balan wonderworld because trying to record my switch screen in the car is not a very good idea. I did complete the perfect game but after probably like 5-8 tries. And I made it to the save block before the final boss room and decided to wait until I eat at a restaurant to beat the final boss. And on the last day of our trip on our way home I decided to play spectrobes beyond the portals and clear that ice world that I forgot the name of which take more time then it takes to reach the final boss because I’m one of those guys that clears the section of all the glowing lights before going on to the next one so it took me a few hours. 😅
Also I think this is the trip that I ate the most pizza on.
Also I didn’t talk about this for some reason (probably because I’m that lazy.😅)
But we went on a trip to Boston in December and I cleared the purple and green streamers and I somehow managed to beat scissors without dying when I broke its cover at the start of the fight.
And for those into gacha I beat world 11 in guardian tales. But here’s a crazy story about the hotel we stayed at.
We stayed at a home2 suites for 3 days and 3 nights and night 1, day 1, and night 2 were perfectly fine but on day 2 the hot water at the hotel stopped working for some reason and while the hotel sent the people who were going to book a room there to another hotel, the guests that were already staying there (including us) were out of luck. On the last day we had to bath by heating up water in pots, so yeah Murphy’s law was out to get us. But still nice while it lasted since we ate at a restaurant that we liked nearby.
