Was originally going to come back tomorrow after taking a bit of a breather, but I noticed that twentieth anniversary article and just had to read it, so... I'm back. And with a new name that I've been planning on switching to for a while, in order to consolidate more of my online accounts with the same name. Cheers 😃

Funny thing about perspective is that it come from anywhere. In my case it takes an argument about collectibles and someone calling me on my own attitude for me to consider that yeah - maybe I need a break.

Starting tomorrow I'll be taking some time off from here for a month or so. Not that this was a decision I made lightly, mind you - I've been flip-flopping on this for a while, hoping that I could stick it out even with the current state of online Nintendo discussion being worse than ever, but clearly that overall attitude has rubbed off on me and that's not a good thing for anyone. Making folks annoyed or miserable with what I say here isn't my intent, but if that is what's happening then the best course of action is probably to step back for a bit.

Now this doesn't mean I'll be gone forever - you won't be getting rid of me that easily - but after the break my presence here will likely be lesser than it was before. Probably for the best.

Was that second half me? Um... honestly yeah it gets a lil tiring.. I'm here to have fun with you people and everyone's always going to the worst side often times as a default... but you know I think deep down... I don't like seeing people being miserable... or not having fun... you're life's too short to be spending in on stuff you ain't that passionate about... or at least that's how I see things.. people are free to also you know... not do that if that's how you wanna live your life. But we're all people at the end of the day and not characters.. and you know... I was being a lil dramatic and hyperbolic and trying to have fun with it near the end as I was trying to back peddle a bit thinking... I don't wanna hurt this person's feelings if i did, either directly or indirectly... but take a break if you need to. Maybe me saying something I always held back was a good thing for once... but idk i'm just talking jiberish. Hope all is well or that it turns out well with anything else going in your life. Right now trying to clone my spearmint plant from cuttings so I can have a lot of leaves to make daily tea hopefully in a couple months.

Hey everyone, it's been a while.

After a month-long break, I'm back, I'm refreshed and I'm ready to give this another shot(and with a spiffy new pfp too). Like I said before, I won't be as prominent on here as I was prior, so as to reduce the risk of being an insufferable wretch. Might also hang around the forums more than the comments since there's less likelihood of a headache.

I probably will be less active, if active at all for a while. Nintendo's February Direct is seemingly a Partner Showcase next week (more like Game Key Card Showcase), Nintendo's releasing its first published game key card in March, pricing is getting ridiculous, among many more poor decisions have made me question if I even care that much about them anymore. There's not a single new game I'm looking forward to this year (both Nintendo and not Nintendo).

I think it's good I take a break. Since there probably won't be many big announcements until June, I don't see much of a point in uselessly speculating. The fact Nintendo's already this slow for announcements that they already need a partner showcase is ridiculous. There's already a very small size of 1st party games, but looks like there will be a drought for a few more months.

Hopefully Nintendo learns their lesson after this generation. The forums for "Next Nintendo Direct?" and "Nintendo Music App" have been what I've been using mostly, so thanks for entertaining my predictions! I may stop by occasionally, but I think it's best to kind of step back while Nintendo does.

Have a nice break! I was thinking for a while now, about not buying any new games this year. Yesterday I was convinced, that I really should not buy anything. I hope you have some nice games in your backlog, or some classics from the past, which you can replay and enjoy, in the meantime.
