@Mariotag I don’t care about banners at all, but I probably should have been doing dallies instead of wasting time grinding by doing super repetitive levels…one thing that annoys me though, is the fact some of the Orbs and rewards you can get are locked behind the FEH Pass.

Yeah, I haven’t really played any other FE games a lot besides some of Three Houses and the Warriors spin-offs, but from what I saw in Three Houses, the writing and story was far better written, though unsurprisingly since it’s a mainline game and not a mobile game. I know FEH attempts some tragedy and serious moments, but the story there is really not well-written, it kind of leans more toward anticlimactic and mediocre, at least for me.

Finally, I can watch WICKED FOR GOOD for SIXTEEN times.

Well, that's the only movie I really want to watch and rewatch multiple times from 19 November 2025 until 23 December 2025 before it will get replaced by other movies.
I still keep the tickets, all 16 movie tickects from watching WICKED FOR GOOD.

The writing wasn't always better, but it generally is. I mean, I played book 9 expecting something greater. But, "Let us Begin" was good enough.

3 Houses is probably one of my less favorited games in the franchise because bloat tbh.

I never knew Nintendo Life had a Discord community 😅. I intend on starting to use Discord in the future though, and when I do, I will probably join the Discord community. But until then, I'll just stick with the NL comments and forums, since I'm still busy with school.

I turned on my PS3 machine and played Final Fantasy XIII-2 after long time I didn't play my PS3 games.
During this holiday, I tried to expand my gaming experience from older games I have never played before.
I have a plan to get Lightning Returns FF XIII, White Knight Chronicles 1 & 2 as I can find the cheaper options from my local online shopping website.
I knew they are new things for me and somewhat acceptable rated Teen games on PS3.
After all, PS3 will turn 20 years old on next year.
A celebration of 20th anniversary by getting more PS3 games I have never played before.

@Pastellioli Thank you, I'm feeling better now. My paper cut has healed, as well. I also wrapped everybody's presents so I'm all set for Christmas. I listened to some festive Nintendo music while wrapping the gifts, too.

That's cool, I've grown up with rock music, my dad is a fan of that genre. I have quite a lot of nostalgia for The Beatles myself, haha. I've heard of Fall Out Boy, but I haven't heard their songs.

Anybody picking up the Analogue 3D? I'm content with just an N64 using either composite or component cables on something like a 27 or 32" Sony WEGA SD CRT(Circa 2005/2006), but if Analogue winds up updating the A3D to overlock ALL N64 games to run at 60fps, if possible, than I'm sold.

Still sticking with an original N64 controller(If only Nintendo sold wired brand new ones) since 8-BitDo's A3D controller's analog stick doesn't have the same level of resistence nor does it cover as much ground or is styled as high. It's more GameCube-like. Plus I've also heard complaints about the D-pad.

Maybe buying a good condition OEM N64 Controller(s) on eBay, and replacing the silicone button pads with quality new ones, and swapping out the old stick with a brand new one that's a replica as a replacement would do the trick. Yet I just hate the idea of dissecting controllers. Such a pain in the butt.

@Mariotag I bet you dallies would help me way more than just randomly grinding. I don’t really like grinding anymore, super annoying and tiring. Last time I did it in a game it was for coins to buy upgrades to go against a boss, but it was super annoying, and I wasn’t even able to defeat the boss because my upgrades weren’t enough. Grinding is super annoying as a non-paying player.

I do like some parts of the Books a bit, but not a whole lot. There are some moments I find a bit anticlimactic and sorta cringy (there are 1-2 moments that come to mind but I’d go on a rant if I mentioned it) but it is a bit fun seeing what direction story will go and how it’ll end. I kind of liked the Book with Ratatoskr in it. I do agree that Book 9 was kinda a bit better and somewhat greater, probably because there was way more at stake, and I even found the reveal that Rune was the creator of the realms and the one who orchestrated the game’s events pretty surprising, especially the ending where he nonchalantly announces to the people that protected him that Ragnarok was coming and that all the realms would be destroyed.

I see, surprising to hear you find it bloated, since a lot of people like it and it’s a bit popular, but not everyone has the same opinion on games.

Yeah, rock is one of my favorites but I definitely want to listen to more artists. I really get how people get tired listening to the same artists on repeat and just don’t want to listen to the same songs again….it finally got to me with a bunch of J-pop songs haha. Fall Out Boy is amazing, I’d recommend listening to some of their songs, but only if you feel like it!
