@CaleBoi25 omg ur rly far in, im on the lagoon layer, trying to collect everything i can find. i love the game so far, even more than odyssey, it balances gameplay and story and its just PERFECT. the voice actors for them and another special dk character are in MKW credits so hopefully the updated soon!!

speaking of voice actors folks, toadette and toads voice actors have been revealed! Laila Berzins is toad and Laura Stahl is toadette! im glad they gave them separate voice actors, the toads are getting the treatment they deserve!

If you do not mind waiting, it might be good to wait until both games will be released. Then you can get a better picture, which one is better for you, thanks to reviews, reading opinions and watching more gameplay.

I legit thought the new puzzle pokemon game would be free to play.

Not sure why but seeing a price attached to it surprised me.

This evening, my family had a cookout in the backyard. I ate 4 hot dogs and 2 bratwursts and ended up with a big stomachache which I still have right now 🤣. We also had s'mores, I made two of them for myself. Almost all of us used Hershey's chocolate bars, but my dad did his usual favorite: Reese's cups for his s'mores. We're also going to my grandparents' house for a cookout this Saturday. Has anyone had a cookout yet this summer, or planning on doing one?

@ShieldHero Awesome, thanks for accepting! And ouch, hope that stomachache goes away. Seeing your list of favorite games, I haven't played much of the Mario + Rabbids games... I should come back to those sometime.

@MarioVillager92, which of the two Mario+Rabbids games have you played? I'm curious. I personally like Sparks of Hope better because of the atmosphere, orchestrated music, and interesting battle system, but Kingdom Battle is a solid choice too.

@ShieldHero Kingdom Battle is the only one I've played as of now.

@MarioVillager92, nice! If you like Kingdom Battle, you'll definitely like Sparks of Hope. And Sparks of Hope usually goes on sale on the eShop for $25-30 once every few months, sometimes even more often it feels like. I got it back in December 2023 for 25 bucks, as well as the Season Pass for 18 bucks. While the Season Pass isn't quite as good as the base game, I cannot recommend Sparks of Hope enough.

@ShieldHero I haven't had a true cookout yet, but nn the 4th, we had pulled pork sammies! And for the Family Night to end off VBS, we are doing one with hot dogs!

@ShieldHero Aw man! That cookout sounds good! What was your favourite bit? I live in an Asian household, so I don't usually do a cookout and we like staying inside, but now I hope we can cause a cookout sounds delicious!

Sparks of Hope was nice and the Rayman dlc was cool.

@MarioVillager92, I've noticed that you've played the Switch 2 edition of botw on your play activity. I've been looking for the answer to a question that I can't find online. Suppose you played the Switch 1 edition of botw for 150 hours. If you upgrade the game to the Switch 2 edition and play it, will it count as a seperate game on your play activity and start counting from zero hours, or will it continue at 150 hours and change the Switch 1 edition picture to the Switch 2 edition picture on your play activity? This really matters to me, since I've always been obsessed with keeping my play activity nice and orderly.

@ShieldHero it carries over! I have 'hundreds' of hours in TotKS2E, but most of that is from the base version.

@ParrakerriRush what flavor Asian are you? I am Filppino on my Mom's side. (My Dad is a bunch of European things; they met when he went to Japan for a work trip.)

@ShieldHero I do like what I've played of Kingdom Battle, just haven't played it as much for some reason... probably because I gotta be in the mood for turn-based strategy games and I was into stuff like Super Mario Odyssey by the time I got it. I do have Sparks of Hope as well, just want to finish KB first.

As for the Breath of the Wild play time, the vast majority of my play time was on the original Switch version. If you upgrade to the Switch 2 edition, it doesn't count as a separate game - it continues counting your play time from the Switch 1 version and changes the icon to the Switch 2 edition.

@MarioVillager92, thanks for the answer! That question was bugging me for quite some time. I was considering purchasing the upgrade packs for botw and totk if I got a Switch 2 in the future.
