@Tyranexx
My hometown was safe. I heard from the news the damage only happened on the city near of the tremor, Tuban. It was 6.0 to 6.5 magnitude and the tremor happened until 84 times.
When the earthquake happened in my hometown, I was sitting on library chair and I felt a little bit movement on the floor, from left to right and I was thinking OMG an earthquake.
Then the students and teachers get out from the class after I heard the bell ringing. Fortunately, the tremor was really tame and the students have been taught before from the BMKG peoples about the procedure when there was an earthquake. The tremor felt again during 12pm to 1 pm and again on 4 pm, but it still safe.
@Anti-Matter Glad there appear to be no casualties and that it sounds like the damage was only related to structures; those can be replaced, but people cannot. Sounds like your school has some safety protocols in place, which is good; I'm sure that's very common in areas around the Pacific Ring of Fire like Indonesia.
In my case, I was awakened from sleep. I shared a bunk bed with my sister - I was top bunk - and at first thought she was shaking it. But the movement didn't quite feel like that. I even asked to make sure and she said no, she didn't. The tremor later that morning wasn't as powerful; I was sitting at a desk studying then.
How come there's never any car accidents that happen within 20 feet of me whenever I go for a walk? If any cars get totaled or nicked, I'm never around to witness. Am I a walking good luck charm for motorists?
I've decided I'm going to reboot my persona. Instead of a half-kitsune with fire and super-speed powers, I'm going to make him into a half-kitsune who takes on the role of a "gentleman thief", like Sly Cooper, who only steals from bad guys.
@Tyranexx Thank you, bud. Your kind words meant a lot to me. Things are getting a little better I think, and I'm definitely doing the best I can. If it helps to know, it's related to my low self-esteem. I'm doing OK otherwise.
I do know that the PSP had impressive hardware for a handheld at the time, it had a wider screen compared to the other systems at the time and it had graphics pretty much on par with the PS2. It could play movies too, though they're all proprietary since they came in UMDs. Kinda like how many TV shows made it to the GBA under the Game Boy Advance Video branding. All righty that's cool. It'd be good to know what you'd think of the cute art style... I don't mind it of course, I do like Animal Crossing after all, just doesn't fit Mega Man imo. But I'm sure that some folks out there like Powered Up's art style.
Nice, glad you're feeling better. Sounds like your cough isn't as bad as it used to be, too. Yeah, I prefer my walks to be not too windy myself, since it might get too cold for me. I actually wanted to take a walk today... but it was actually too windy! Yeah... some scents just don't agree with me either.
That would be cool, Splatoon has some truly awesome music... right up there with what Mario, Sonic, Mega Man, Xenoblade, and many other game series bring to the table in terms of soundtracks. Yeah, I've been getting into Splatoon lately, I got even more into the series with Splatoon 3. Recently, I got a gold banner from the shell-out machine, there's only a 0.1% chance of getting one! So I'm happy about that.
That's cool, I don't mind live-action movies myself. There's some that I like, actually! At the top of my head, the ones that come to mind include the Back to the Future trilogy, Terminator 1 and 2, and the classic Indiana Jones movies. (I've not seen the other ones like Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.) OK gotcha, I'm not sure if I've seen that Haunted Mansion part... most of the Disney sing-along tapes I've had as a child had songs from Disney movies, but we've had one that took place in Disneyland as well. All righty, good to know, I'll see it when I get a chance and I'll be sure to come on in with an open mind. I used to not like scary stuff when I was a kid, either. That also reminds me, in Super Mario 64, I used to get scared by that Boo that showed up in the back hallway of Peach's castle when I was a child. Literally came out of nowhere after I got just enough stars! Ursula used to scare me as a kid as well. Disney's made some truly memorable villains over so many years, haven't they?
