@OctolingKing13 I wathced some of the unfaithful TV show with my mom when it came out, and recently my library got the first 3 volumes of the original comic. Sadly they ain't got the rest though.

Been playing quite a few games lately... and I came back to Animal Crossing: New Horizons after transferring my island to my new Mario edition Switch OLED. That game knows how to keep me busy, lol! My mom's been wanting blue roses so I'm gonna try growing some more. Been getting some housework done, too.
@Tyranexx Yeah! They put the sprinkles inside the cake itself, and it was really good for sure. The folks at the bakery did a fabulous job. Strawberry has always been my favorite cake flavor, too. Metroid Prime Remastered is a really good version of MP1... they weren't lying when they said that it's one of the best-looking Switch games, either. Hopefully they'll do remasters of MP2 and 3 as well.
OK, cool. The first Cinderella is honestly one of my favorite Disney movies. It's a very sweet movie for sure - except for the stepmother and stepsisters, of course - and I like its overall message that pretty much encourages positive thinking, no matter what happens. On Mickey's Once Upon A Christmas - ah yeah, that's a great story for sure, with Donald Duck and his family... when I first saw it, I had a certain other movie come to mind, lol. The last part of Mickey Mouse's story really touched me, too. Where Mickey sold his harmonica to get Minnie a chain for her watch, and Minnie sold her watch to get Mickey a case for his harmonica. It was a surprisingly sweet part, and the perfect way to end the movie!
That's cool, we actually had those Don Bluth movies you've mentioned, except for The Secret of NIMH which I watched more recently. I remember liking An American Tail, as well, I did see that at school many years ago. Also, even though the next movie isn't from Disney or Don Bluth, I also really liked The Iron Giant as a kid. We used to have it on VHS.
@Sunsy Ohhh, gotcha, I see. That makes sense. Good to hear you had those batteries on you.
Nice, that's cool. Going on a slight tangent, I would see Cartoon Network shows sometime after school when I was younger. So when I was like 9 or 10, I would either see those, or play GameCube games. Oh gosh, I think I might have seen that they have a Strawberry Shortcake channel once or twice - I have an aunt who loves Strawberry Shortcake. I even got her one of those classic dolls for her birthday one time. That's cool, we have Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and Amazon Prime Video. Though my mom uses those more since she's kind of a TV show buff. I might check those channels out at some point.
OK. I actually went ahead and took a picture of them... here they are!
I made them so that Mickey and Minnie are holding hands, too. They were from Shop Disney, and I like how their shoes have "Disney 2023" on the bottom.
Oh gotcha, lol. Yeah, Fire Emblem can get very tough. I'd have to play one battle per session, too... they can take a good while to finish, and the FE games really makes me use my head. I tend to overthink a lot, and I don't wanna screw things up and have an important party member dead. (Hey, that rhymes!) Yeah that would be cool, I'm sure Nintendo would consider that in the future. I know they've made Famicom Detective Club for the Switch a while back.
I'll let you know when I eventually get to seeing the Trolls movies. It was very fun for sure... we should play more of 3D World sometime!
@IceDomino That's something that I'd agree with... Samus is an awesome character for sure.
"Give yourself the gift of being joyfully you."
Playing: Disney Dreamlight Valley, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond
Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I'd like to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
I like how there's diversity in "Alice's Wonderland Bakery" despite the original movie having an all-Caucasian cast for humans. The Queen's descendants are Hispanic, the Hatter's are Japanese, and the Carpenter's are Filipino. (and that includes the dishes, that's how I learned about Japanese dishes like mochi, okonomiyaki and gyoza)
