I’m not sure I would describe 40 and 50 as “pretty old”. That’s still young by todays standards.

So our current "event tourney" in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is "Original Class of '64", which involves characters, stages and items from the original N64 game. Smash Ball and Final Smash Meter are in it as well, possibly in reference to how Final Smashes WERE originally going to be in the game but the console's limitations forced them to scrap the mechanic (apparently audio for Ness's PK Starstorm and Captain Falcon's Blue Falcon are hidden in the game's files)
