@Tyranexx Agreed on the notifications... @Sunsy told me that he was having trouble finding my post because of that.
That'd be cool, yeah you'd probably handle C++ pretty well since you seem to be quite good at programming. And yeah, starting from scratch would mean that it would have to take longer to learn all the ins and outs of it. Ah OK, gotcha on the animation class. I wouldn't mind learning how to do animation myself, seeing that I like stuff like Disney films... and you're never too old to learn, as well. Like many, I watched a plethora of Disney movies quite a lot of times when I was a kid as well. Besides The Lion King, I also liked Pinocchio, 101 Dalmatians, The Jungle Book, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and even Tarzan. I also liked Toy Story and A Bug's Life, though those two are Pixar movies. Those are all the ones I especially remember from my childhood. Yep, that was when 101 Dalmatians originally came out in theaters... that's three decades before I was born! I think it eventually got a VHS release on the same year I was born, 1992 - it was part of the Walt Disney Classics line. No wonder I have a lot of nostalgia for that movie!
Ah yeah for sure, assuming that I get a chance, I certainly wouldn't mind trying out whatever the little ones in my family would be into, that includes Minecraft. Ah yeah for sure... lots of interesting characters and events happen in the Beanbean Kingdom, huh? Oh gosh, that softlock doesn't sound good... good thing a reset resolved it. I'd imagine that since the game only lets you save via save blocks, it did help since you're not gonna get stuck right when you load your save file.
Oh for sure, I remember you mentioned all that when it comes to Animal Crossing. That's understandable. It's a fun game for sure, but it can be a huge time sink. ACNH is my most played Switch game, so take that for what you will... that game had me hooked, lol! Yeah, MK8D has been selling like crazy... so much so that it dethroned the original Super Mario Bros. as the best-selling Mario game! Given that the last DLC wave came out last month, I'd imagine that Nintendo would have a new Mario Kart game in about two to three years from now, give or take. Since they would give us more time to play and enjoy all the DLC courses before the next game comes out. And with the Switch supposedly preparing to be on its way out, I'd also imagine it would be for the Switch's successor.
@Princess_Lilly Nice, that's awesome! I don't think I came across a moomin scented candle, but I'd imagine you like that scent quite a bit? The Christmas shopping went pretty well, I got a decent amount of presents. Now I just have to wrap 'em up!
@Sunsy All righty - take your time. Hope you're doing good.
@IceDomino As someone who's been on the spectrum since childhood (I've known other people who were also on the spectrum, too), I agree with Princess_Lilly for sure. It doesn't change anything... all that matters is that you're a good person and that's it. Don't let that bother you, and also, don't be hard on yourself. Everyone is on their own journey, including yours truly... so give yourself some self-love. That's what I'm doing and it's been working great for me.
Day 8
Better than day 7, though the “Country” and “Six” text is a bit …crunchy
Pretty much inactive

@Sunsy Me too! Noelle's a nice, heartwarming Christmas movie and I'd recommend it to anyone. I love the last part of the movie, too... with Noelle being the next Santa and getting the presents to everyone. What a perfect way to end this movie!
Agreed on the Nintendo decorations. Oh gotcha, that must have been a happy accident, haha. While we're on the subject of train sets and Nintendo decorations, I'd love to have a train set that has - you guessed it - Mario, Princess Peach, and the rest of the Mushroom Kingdom gang! That'd be perfect for my Christmas tree, too. Wonder if Lionel will make such a thing. That Mickey train also reminds me, if I recall correctly, Walt Disney himself was a huge fan of trains back in the day. He had a miniature train, called the Lilly Belle, in his yard back in 1950. So it makes perfect sense to have Disney-themed train sets!
Absolutely. And that's cool, most of my past beds were just regular, and I eventually got to have the Mario-themed ones like the one I have now. I do recall having a Pokemon-themed bed when I was a kid, though. I was way more into games than shows and movies when I was younger, though I did watch anime on occasion as well. Particularly during my teenage years. That's cool you still have that Pinocchio comforter.
That's good. Yeah, anytime I play games online, I play fair and legitimately, and to the best of my ability. While I'm pretty good at Mario Kart, I'm not one of those Mario Kart Wii hackers where they use lightning during the starting countdown and throw an infinite amount of blue shells, lol. As long as I find the game fun, online or otherwise, that's all that matters. There was one online game I didn't like though, which was Rocket League. I tried getting into that game, but I just found it insanely frustrating. So I don't play it anymore. (No offense to anyone who likes RL, I know a lot of people like it.) Ah yeah, Mario Kart Wii's online was a definite improvement over DS. The fact that you can play as little or as much races as you please is a lot more player-friendly than the 4-race requirement. Yep, you can see my Merry Mountain record in-game! I know that @WoomyNNYes took a look at some of my time trial records a while back. So you can see how I play, too. Yeah, I'd mute the chat as well if there's an option.
That's really cool. I wanna get the SNES ornament for my tree, since it was the first console I've played. I won't mind having that Genesis one as well... come to think of it, I don't have any Sonic ornaments for my tree. The one with Sonic and Tails looks awesome!
Oh that's good you took a lot of breaks. Whatever makes you comfortable. Yeah, events like that can be a bit too much for me as well, since I am pretty sensitive. I'm still like that with super-fast amusement park rides, so I'm also speed-sensitive. Absolutely... Toad is cute to begin with, and so is Toadette.
Indeed, or the scene where Noelle speaks sign language magically to the girl, like she suddenly knew it. That scene always gets me and mom. :')
I know this is a dumb question, but now I must ask, has there ever been any Mario games where a train appears? I'm trying to remember now. That does sound like a cool idea for a train set. I didn't know Walt Disney was a fan of trains, that's some cool trivia.
Nice, I just stuck with character bedding from teen years on. Actually, I'm hoping to get the new Trolls set one of these days since I have the bed set from the first two movies. I use to be big on Pokemon too, when I was a teen, I actually would wear Pokemon shirts and play the games often. I still do like the series even if I'm not massive into it as I once was. Had it since I was little, still gets some use too.
Wii hackers reminded me of the old Sega game, The Conduit. It was an FPS game by Sega, and I once came across someone my character emptied an entire clip into, and nothing happened. Sadly, he was using hacks. I don't mind cheat codes in offline games, for example codes intentionally built into the game (like the Konami code, or level select codes in Sonic for examples), but cheating online is just wrong. It ruins the fun for everyone. None taken, I haven't played Rocket League yet, even after it went free. Yeah, that's why I prefer Wii over DS' four race requirement. If I played a cheater in MKDS, I would have to finish the races, or face some sort of penalty for disconnecting. At least on MKWii, I could just play one race, then disconnect and join another matchmaking queue. Oh ok, I'll check next time. Yeah, I usually use Discord voice chat when playing with my IRL friends. As I mentioned in the genres you don't like thread, it's muscle memory pressing mute at the start of all Apex matches, lol.
I want to get the SNES one and the Dreamcast one, I got both systems for Christmas. They made a sound ornament for Dreamcast this year, with a light up VMU screen. The Sonic and Tails one is cool, it's Tails holding onto Sonic and flying.
Yeah, it was a lot of breaks, also, I had my 3DS with me that night, I was playing Mighty Switch Force a lot that night. Indeed they are.
Yes, I'm doing good, thanks for asking. Just been playing the new Trolls game on Switch and Jagged Alliance on PC. Also, pretty much ready for Christmas. Hope things are well with you too.
@MarioLover92 that's great, have fun packing the presents! I dont know how they smell yet, gotta buy them and burn them. Its probably gonna smell like a forest, its green and there are many fir trees in Moomin Valley
@IceDomino liking Japanese culture is pretty much the new mainstream, so you dont have to worry there. Its not weird nor unsettling and I cant even fathom why anyone would think it is
@IceDomino Man, autism don't mean nothing to me. You are a cool dude, stay that way forever
Autism is a superpower @Princess_Lilly Well, fair enough.

@IceDomino What's wrong with weebs? I'm a weeb, my brother's a weeb, a weeb is just an anime/manga fan really.
Also, if it makes you feel better, I've met Japanese people before, and they're actually pretty dang grateful if you say you like their culture.

@CaleBoi25@IceDomino I'm not Asian and I stil like Japanese culture, it's just that Japan sells its culture very well. Having like, 90% presence on the Video Game market definitely helps.
Yesterday was a very stressful day, not gonna lie. It would seem that the situation got a little bit less heated, although one side committing high treason is definitely a sign of desperation, definitely not something that you do unless you are 100% certain of the outcome, so I can only hope everything will be alright
@Princess_Lilly I don't know about the polotics in your country, but it seems boh of our countries are pretty ehated right now
I hate voting season
