Welp, tonight's the Splatfest, and I just picked my team (Zombie). I was having fun with Mario Wonder, too... guess I have to take a break from the Flower Kingdom for this weekend. Oh well.
@Sunsy Me too, been having a blast with Mario Wonder! It's my first playthrough of the game and I'm already having a wonderful time with it... pun entirely intended. This might just be my personal game of the year, honestly. Oh nice, glad you got to have the early showing as well, you deserve it.
I don't think I had biscuit tea either, I do remember having lemon tea and it is pretty good, especially the aroma. You like peppermint, huh? I'm not too huge into minty flavors (I don't dislike them, though) but it's cool you like it.
Nice, that's cool, I actually have that Super Game Boy player's guide. I recall hearing that it came with the SGB itself. I remember my dad had one, as well as Donkey Kong '94. I do like the borders as well, especially the one that was for the aforementioned Donkey Kong '94. It looked a lot like the arcade cabinet screen border. I remember that the guide said you could write notes on it, and yeah it does seem to be the precursor to the 3DS's game notes. I guess the Switch's screenshot capture could be a makeshift alternative to that, too. Like in Super Mario Odyssey, you could take screenshots of hint arts to help you find certain moons.
I don't think we've played Kirby Super Star online before... maybe we could try that out sometime. I know we've played Super Mario Kart and Super Mario All-Stars together.
Absolutely, I've heard nothing but good things about Frozen, so I watched it after renting it on Netflix and I enjoyed it. I might check out Finding Nemo at some point, I've not watch too much of Pixar's movies. Though as you may remember, I loved Luca back when I first saw it a couple years back. I can't blame you... Once Upon A Studio really made me emotional as a Disney fan. Makes me want to watch more Disney movies and cartoons, as well.
I remember that's how you got to go to that WWE event, that's cool. I did pay a little visit to Madison Square Garden when I was at New York City with my dad - we didn't go to any events, but I do recall there was a lot of New York Rangers merchandise. (My dad is a hockey guy and a Rangers fan.) I agree for sure, I like my train rides to be above ground, as well... love seeing all the scenery pass by. I've been on a couple train rides in an amusement park that I went to, and those were also fun! In that railroad museum I mentioned last time, the train that we've been on was an old-fashioned steam train. We've been in a trolley before, as well.
@Tyranexx That's cool, I do know how much you like your thrill rides and stuff like that. Lol, wouldn't that be nice, just downloading everything necessary to learn how to speak other languages fluently. Yeah, plus you're getting the beauty of red and yellow leaves. And ugh, yeah... tell me about it.
Anyway, yeah definitely, staying for the night is kind of a necessity for when you're going to a place that's like an hour or two away. You just gotta be financially prepared, I think. NYC's worth visiting for sure, I've been there quite a few times in the past. I've also been to the Nintendo store a couple times. It does get crowded in NYC in general though, just a heads up.
@EaglyBird Hope your sister gets better real soon!

Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I'd like to know you first. Thanks! ❤️

Nothing major. I strained my groin two days ago and since I have a rodeo today and tomorrow I don’t have an option to rest it. So that is one brace. The other one is for my knee, since I tore my ACL twice in high school. I don’t technically need a brace for that one, but i am to afraid to risk another tear. Luckily I don’t have anything on my foot, so that is nice.

@EaglyBird It really sucks that she got the flue out of all things. I have high hopes everything will be alright, I wish I could do more then just say words as I know they don’t do much. Again I wish her nothing but the very best for her.
@blindsquarel it’s good to hear it’s nothing major. But you can’t rest it at all?I know it’s a brace and everything but it will still be fine right?
@EaglyBird
It’s not selfish if you stay away from here for the weekend. Better to be with family than with us.
@Snatcher
I could turn out, but I’m stubborn and want to compete. Team roping should be fine since you don’t have to get off the horse at all. I’m fully expecting to pull my groin in calf roping though.

@EaglyBird
I saw your comment about wanting to know where my username came from, so I guess I can.
Awhile back I frequented a fan site for the Arizona Cardinals. One user had a name starting with TotallyNotABlindSquarel. I can’t remember the rest but that is the only important part. I’m really bad at making creative usernames and and that guys name popped into my head when making mine for the NintendoLife. So I just kinda stole the Blindsquarel part.
@EaglyBird I really hope your sister will be okay. It really sucks being ill anytime, but if it's a day that normally you'd be celebrating on, it's even worse.

@Princess_Lilly Marginally. I almost got a nosebleed yesterday due to sniffing or blowing my nose too hard, not sure which, and my throat felt a lot worse. I feel a lot better than that today, though, probably slightly better than 2 days ago.

@Scooby-Doo For blowing nose, I could recommend Nivea cream to moisturize the area near the nostrils, so that they don't get chapped due to constant scrubbing them against the tissues. For the throat, you can try Strepsils, but sometimes it's not enough.
Hang in there, and remember to rest as much as possible! We're with you
