Ran an errand today, and finally preordered Super Mario Bros. Wonder at my local Best Buy! Been wanting to have it preordered for a good while. I'm purposefully not gonna see any gameplay videos of it before I pick up my copy. I haven't played Tears of the Kingdom for a while... maybe I'll try to finish it before SMBW's release date.

@Tyranexx Gotcha, that's good. So kinda like how safe airplanes are... the only thing that got me on that coaster was how fast it got, lol. Agreed with your advice... next time I go on a coaster, it would need to be, you know, not too tall and crazy. Lol, exactly - at least ferris wheel carriages will always be right-side up!

I actually got Animal Crossing: New Horizons digitally from the eShop. Mainly so I can check on my island and play with my friends anytime I want. There's a large number of Switch games that I have in physical form, but I have quite a few digital versions of games as well. Super Mario Maker 2 and the Link's Awakening remake for example. I preordered the physical copy of Super Mario Bros. Wonder - it's the kind of game I'd like having physically and I have most of the mainline Mario games in physical format myself. Getting the game digitally isn't a bad idea... especially since you mentioned its file size.

Now that I preordered SMBW, I'm wondering if I should focus on finishing Tears of the Kingdom before it's time for Mario's next adventure. Maybe one or two other games... depending on how busy I get and how much I get into F-Zero 99, lol. Been liking my time with that game, by the way.

@Sunsy I usually think of the SNES original first when F-Zero comes to mind as well. My dad had it for the SNES and he loved playing it back then. We've had every game in the series, too. I also used to play the heck out of F-Zero GX when I was young... even with its insanely high difficulty! It's one of my favorite GameCube games as a result.

On Paper Mario, gotcha. Thousand-Year Door was the first Paper Mario game I've played, and is one of my all-time favorites... even though I'm not huge into RPGs like a lot of people! And since it's coming out for Switch, I'd give that my highest recommendation. The original Paper Mario is really good too. I skipped Color Splash because it looked pretty similar to Sticker Star, which I... didn't like. I did hear Color Splash was a better game, though.

The one on the SNES Classic is Mega Man X. I actually like that game more than any of the classic series Mega Man games, mainly because of the added controls and how you'd find power-ups by exploration. If you liked Mega Man 2, you'll definitely like this one. It's got a darker story and setting, as well.

That's awesome, glad to hear you're enjoying Disney Speedstorm. Been playing F-Zero 99 lately. The Queen League courses are here now, by the way.

I also did random online races when I played Mario Kart Wii. Same with its successors. More recently, I was playing with @Fizza when wave 3 came out in 8 Deluxe.

Oh that's cool they mentioned you in that Trolls article. You know what, I actually got a response from when I left a comment on an earlier article. It was a poll that asked whether you wanna get Super Mario Bros. Wonder or Sonic Superstars. I said that I'm going for Mario, and - get this - someone told me "phht mario fan" a month after I left my comment. That same user pretty much trash-talked SMBW and said how much better Sonic is than Mario, or something like that. It was rude of them, of course... but surprisingly I did take it pretty well, lol. I do want to get Sonic Superstars as well, I mentioned that in my comment, just more excited for SMBW.

@Sunsy Believe me, I'd love to have more time to watch stuff too since there are some shows I wanna rewatch from back in the day. And I still need to finish watching The Legend of Korra. I've only seen the first season so far.

Honestly for a game to surprise me like this is so rare! So when it happens I’m vary happy!

I didn’t get much done today, Lorithiakicked my butt, I killed her eventually since (and I might have been wrong on this) she is either base so I thought Melia should be able to do more damage, not sure but it worked and I finally killed her at level 72,which I’m pretty sure is under so now I’m probably gonna have to grind a little more before fighting The boss on prison island lorithia though, is going to be in my nightmares.

I tried to fight waltapon again and I almost got him and got put to sleep then super attacked, I will wait till I’m LV 75 before trying again lol! Still can’t believe I’m getting my butt kicked by a drug dealing napon lol! Those little guys are insane.

30? Holy what controller do you use? Just a duleshock or the wii mote things?

And for a while, I was using a controller with a broken L2 button too

Once I got into character creation I couldn’t get out of it, so I’ve probably made like 120 characters in total (because I’ve made numerous versions of my 30-ish characters, one of the characters in particular has 12 versions)

Pretty good, but I'm not a fan of not playing half of the time so it's not for me.

Whenever my mom is gone, me and my brother just chill. No massive parties. I watch anime on the TV and blast the openings as loud as I want (I usally watch anime on the TV, but I can't blast the openings) and I get in a voice chat with my friends.

I thought today was Friday...

I have a very bizarre feeling on the idea of me having no button input in "The Super Mario Bros. Movie" since it's...well, an animated movie. With power-ups. Nobody can speedrun it or cheat in it.

They should give a huge warning that the protagonist of a visual novel is a male before purchase. I was getting into one and the writing explicitly started referring to mc as he/him

Weird, I keep having to remind myself that it isn’t Sunday.

I think im creating too much concept art for the game i plan to make commerically in like 2 years lmao (which is a full-blown realization of the ideas of a game i already kinda made)

So, for the past year I've been in the middle of moving house. So far, I have managed to lose only 2 things, but on the other hand, one of those 2 things was a 3DS game that now goes for around £100, and the controller for the damnable Nintendo Wii. I only found that I had lost the controller after having bought 2 or 3 games for the console, and going to play them. I got a replacement, but it broke near instantly, and the shop I got it from "does not allow refunds, replacements, or repairs for controllers after 7 days.", and I wouldn't have been able to get back to the shop within that amount of time even if I had been aware of that. I was certain an amount of time that small for those isn't even legal, I'm sure of it!

Also, I wanted to go see a film the cinema in about a week, but it's 15-rated and I don't have any ID, it's on in a town that's too far away to reasonably travel to, and the film ends at about 10:30 at night on the only day it was reasonably cheap to get tickets. It was seemed to be on way closer to here, but then it wasn't, for some reason. I really wanted to see that film. Might be worth it to just go in and see if I actually get asked for ID, but on the other hand, I've not really had a lot of luck as of late.

I've had a bit of a bad day, and just wanted to write it down somewhere. Hope everyone else here is having a better one.
