@MarioLover92 I love the speed of roller coasters, as well as any decent amounts of airtime. Some of the more creative train types are fun to experience too. I've never been stuck on a ride for more than a few minutes, no crazy breakdowns or anything. The one time was likely from trying to load someone with mobility issues.

If I were to get Animal Crossing: New Horizons digital, that would be very bad news for me lol. I'd feel too obligated to check my island a lot. I think I have decided to get New Super Mario Bros.Wonder digitally using the NSO voucher program. Not sure what I'll use the other voucher for yet, but it'll be nice to have. My only complaint is I wish it could apply to more second and third party titles at least.

My goal is to teach the end credits in Tears of the Kingdom before Mario drops, but we'll see since I have a very busy month between haunted house stuff. Plus it seems like many people I know are either getting married or having kids lol. Plenty of showers to go to lately....

I’m gonna level up one more time for xenoblade final boss, I kept trying but I couldn’t do it…I’m a little tilted since I’m gonna have the do the whole thing over after going at it for over an hour but my salt will subside.

I’m watching the sing along version of Nightmare Before Christmas on Disney+ and I’m trying my ding-dang hardest to sing along with songs that aren’t “This Is Halloween” or “What’s This?”.

@Anti-Matter In Kao an Ratchet it's not that offputting because they are cartoon animals although Rivet and Kao's sister were cuter.

In RPGs it's not that much of an issue because MC is just a representation of a whole party

But in visual novels where you're mostly "taking the place" of an MC, it's painful

When IT? I've called you out on it before, because you wrote about men like they were all some kind of perverted predators. But now they're an "it", so these people aren't human now?

I get it, the patriarchy sucks. I'm sure everyone has felt the effects of it. But I'm not sure if your approach to men is much better than their approach to women.

I feel like it's a touchy subject, but I think we can at least agree that some people can be scary, and can ruin the context in visual novels

I'm not against them in visual novels it's just that it has become somewhat of a strange norm for VNs taking weird turns

Nothing wrong with male characters in every games regardless of their genre, even visual novel style like Kuroko no Basuke or Prince of Tennis.
Even on current Harvest Moon games the characters displayed as visual novel style when talking with you.

@Anti-Matter It's not about any character, it's about the main character. The one from whose perspective you perceive things in a visual novel.

Are there any visual novels you’re thinking of particular @Princess_Lilly ? I don’t play visual novles often at all, so I don’t know many, the three at the top of my head are dongarompa, ddlc, and ace attorney. Im just curious.

@Snatcher no problem. Yeah actually I got a vn about someone with bad luck going to a shrine and getting his bad luck "driven out" by maidens who want to live with them and you think "its gonna be a cozy tale about friends" but its not and of course it gets weird
