@Iwascrazyonce Crazy? I was crazy once. They put me in a room. A rubber room. A rubber room with rats. And rats make me crazy.

@EaglyBird Eh, I deleted it anyways. I don’t really need it anyways as it would just be for a little humor on the forums.
I thought “Creating alternate accounts or dummy accounts to trick/harass other users will result in all of your accounts being banned. Users who have been banned and create new accounts fall into this category and will also be banned.“ meant creating alt accounts solely for harassment/evasion was against the rules, but since I don’t need the alt anyway, deleting it is fine
Edit: I’ll just ask the mods if alt accounts that you make known are alts are fine

@Sunsy I browse the site on my phone ~90% of the time, but I do log in on PC sometimes...Like now lol. Autocorrect is quite picky sometimes too. I have to fight it regarding some words that use apostrophes depending on if they do or don't need them.
For some reason I thought Poppy's headband was the more common interpretation. Not sure why. I haven't seen the movies or show, just some of the merch here and there.
Currently playing: Layton's Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires' Conspiracy (Switch)
@Tyranexx Yeah, I always keep Nintendo Life logged in on my PC. This way I can check the forums and site when I'm in my room near my PC. When I'm not busy with chores. Wow, for me, I could be typing a name from a show or a game, and autocorrect corrects it, lol.
Yeah, on some toys, she doesn't have a headband. Most Trolls toys usually does feature her headband. It's actually a crown of sorts. In Trolls, Poppy is the princess of the trolls, and the three flower headband is her crown. (Actual movie spoilers, don't read if you ever plan to watch the movies) In the sequel Trolls World Tour, her headband is a bit different as she becomes queen. It obviously changes again for the third movie. She also has two other headbands for the holiday specials, which are used for the occasion.

I hope Nintendo doesn't take offense over the fact that not everyone who likes playing their games...has no interest in watching all those tournaments that have been going on.
@HenryKibble
Personality matters a lot when watching someone else play a game. Somebody like Chuggaconroy can keep me entertained for hours, but most streamers are just boring to watch. That’s most of the reason why I’ve written off let’s plays as a potential medium on YouTube, because I’m just kinda boring to listen to in that kind of setting.
I know that you were more talking about tournament players, but the two situations are similar enough that the same point applies.

Played in another Splatoon 3 Splatfest last weekend. Things didn't quite go my way - I picked Big Man, and Shiver ended up winning - but it was still fun. Shiver has won so many Splatfests in a row, it's crazy! And now, she's the leader of Deep Cut. I got to play with @Vortexeo as well. Good playing with ya! Looking forward to the next Splatfest.
I just had a random thought. Maybe I could draw my S3 Inkling sometime. I've taken quite a few screenshots of my Inkling's winning poses so hopefully I'll find the time to start drawing.
@MarioLover92 Neither are close to me, though Disney World is slightly more feasible. I'd definitely take a plane, though I know folks who have driven it. Disneyland was part of a SoCal vacation my family took when I was 14. We also hit Universal Hollywood, the beach, and some more natural areas like Sequoia National Park. I love roller coasters - most thrill rides honestly - but I do understand they aren't for everyone. Thankfully, the Disney parks have a pretty good mix of rides for all but the most tenuous medical conditions. On the luck: You're welcome!
The screen crunch is the main reason why I'm not very fond of Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, thought it was still pretty impressive that they could squeeze the game onto the GBC at the time IMO. I've played the GBC game but never finished it; the cartridge was borrowed. I don't recall much about the physics, but I've seen similar complaints elsewhere online. I have a collecting mentality with some games, so I could see AC:NH driving me nuts when it comes to all the rotating seasonal items lol.
All right, so pretty much the same with me. California is especially far away from where I'm at to begin with - my state's time zone is three hours ahead of CA. Yeah, I can see myself getting in a plane to get to either Disney park. I'm not too huge into air travel, but it is much faster than driving from my state, that's for sure. That sounds like a fun trip you've had. Yeah... it sucks because I wanted to like roller coasters, but they just did not sit well with me. At least when I was younger... I've not been on a coaster since I was a kid. All right, that's good they've got a good number of rides for someone like me. I definitely intend to experience as much as I can! Plus I like Disney anyway, I like a lot of their movies.
Yeah absolutely, plus they managed to get all that bonus content into SMBD as well. Weirdly enough, I didn't have it as a kid, though I did have Super Mario Land 1 and 2 back then. Gotcha, plus Animal Crossing's the type of game where you'd pretty much need to be active at least fairly often if you wanna get everything.
Nice! I'm just going to wait for Trolls Remix Rescue. Been wanting a proper Trolls game ever since losing that mobile one a few years ago. Plan to get it on both PC and Switch, just to have it on both systems I play on.
That's fine. I like fighting more on PC, playing Mortal Kombat is as easy as simply "typing" your combo, lol. Though, Mortal Kombat II's arcade is known and confirmed to cheat, the game's been programmed to read your button inputs, and counter them in no way a human can. The first few fights are fair, then fight 3-4, it's a struggle since the game is trying to suck quarters out of you. The PC DOS version doesn't have this though, but ports of the arcade original do because the arcade original still thinks it's an arcade machine, not a console. Talk about pay to win, lol. I count Smash as a fighting game.
Nice, I haven't played any of the newer entries aside from Let's Go Eevee. Enjoy them if you get around to playing them.
Yup! People who do like licensed games are often fans of said licensed series. I also have the Smurfs 2 on Wii U and DS, and Smurfs on 3DS. The best ones are still the two recent ones by Microids. They did a great job with their Smurfs games.
Yeah, the internet went down the other night too. I didn't play anything, but if I wanted to I could with GOG's games, or if I had Steam opened in offline mode. Stuff like that always has me looking into DRM-free whenever possible.
I was on a plane when I was a kid, but nowadays, I'm just afraid to fly on them. Always afraid something might happen and it crashes. Star Fox is good, though by flight sim, I'm thinking of games that let you pilot and fly in detail. Like taking off, landing, that sort of thing. I'd say Pilotwings might be similar to that more so than Star Fox.
Cool, I always liked racing games. I played a lot of Sonic & All-Stars Racing. I remember getting the game 10 years ago, and getting hooked to playing it online a lot.
It is a good movie, I remember watching the animated one and the live action one back to back (on two separate days). Mom and I did that for the recent live action remake of The Little Mermaid. We watched the live action one when it came to Disney+, and watched the animated one the day after. Never had much of a problem with their remakes, as unpopular of an opinion as that is, but I do find them predictable due to following the same story.
Indeed. I'm personally surprised at all the options for characters in the game, since I was just expecting Mario, Luigi, and two Toads like the New Super Mario series.
Nice, that's cool. I still haven't preordered SMBW yet, but I still want to do that. Maybe in the next month, that sounds like a feasible time to do so.
Oh gosh, I remember hearing that about Mortal Kombat II. I think Modern Vintage Gamer made a YouTube video about that? Exactly, it is pretty much pay to win. Many arcade games from the 80s and 90s were like that. Where, if you wanna see more of Ms. Pac-Man's mazes for example, you'd have to pump in more quarters if you run out of lives. Yeah, Smash has much simpler controls compared to something like Street Fighter, and the Nintendo characters literally drew me in anyway, so I was able to get into it. On the Pokemon games, thanks.
Absolutely, there do exist good licensed games as well. Disney Illusion Island is honestly really good, and I do want to play more of it - it should be easier to get more time into it, since Splatoon 3's Splatfest is over. Yeah, it sucks when the internet goes out... even more so if you can't play your games.
Oh gotcha, I know that feeling... though I was told that plane accidents are actually quite rare, more so than car accidents. I wouldn't be in a plane until I was in my 20s. I'm not too keen on how the plane tilts while it's turning, kinda makes me feel uneasy. Though I do understand that's just how planes make a turn. Oh gotcha, I forgot about Pilotwings. Didn't play the games too much, but I did play a bit of Pilotwings 64 on NSO+EP last year.
Same here, I used to play Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed online as well, but there typically wasn't a lot of players. Maybe like three others at most.
That's cool. Yeah, the live-action remakes pretty much tell the same stories, and the animated originals are generally more charming to me. Actually, I haven't paid much attention to the remakes because of that.
Yeah. Nintendo could have gone that route, but I'm really glad they chose to add more characters beyond those four, even if they all play identically. It's cool that the Yoshis are playable too, even if they make the game easier. Which is actually good, it makes SMBW accessible to everyone.
