@TeaCatherine No, please don't, I don't want to be the giver of redundant gifts again!

@TeaCatherine It's still quite impolite, so far I've spent something like £50 on redundant gifts in the last 2 years alone. You could at least play them.

@Owl1
That new 2D Mario game?
I don't like the old live system which you can get Game Over for running out of Mario multiple lives + the time limits that put you under pressure. 😟
I personally prefer 2D platformer games by 3rd party developers with no multiple lives, no game over screen, no time limit.
I'm not patient enough to play 2D platformer games with under pressure.
I only interested by Super Mario RPG HD, new Super Princess Peach game so far.
@TeaCatherine P3P, Batman, Metal Gear. It all adds up.

I can't believe I got the hours mixed, I had to recap everything quickly
At least there was nothing that noteworthy, except maybe Star Ocean 2 and MGS.
Between things like vampire survivors (whut) and silent hope tier games and downright showing us that hot wheels exists, it really felt like they had nothing to show and they filled these 30 minutes with big old whatever
Bring me the sesame, miso, citrus and pepper flavored fish cakes
Not a soul is talking about how Nintendo just casually said “oh and we are adding quality of life changes to Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon (Luigi’s mansion 2) that we are putting on the switch next year. Onto the next announcement!” That was such a power move on Nintendo’s part. 3 Mario announcements in a row and a giant one at the end to shut up those on social media who kept pestering for a new Mario. “You want a new Mario? What about this remake? And a brand new peach game? How about a Luigi’s Mansion 2 port? And a new 2D Mario that isn’t called “New Super Mario Bros”!?”
@TeaCatherine
I think the Peach one will be a duel release, along with Dark Moon. I’m with you on the Zelda games coming although I’ve been saying that every direct the past few years.
@Owl1
Nintendo had me hyped up for Zelda dlc and then all they gave was disappointment. Kinda the theme of this direct thought.
The new name for the Mario game is rough, but I don’t blame Nintendo. It’s hard to follow up creative names like New Super Mario Bros U.

@ComfyAko
The direct wasn’t great. Lots of remasters and 1/4 of it taken up by Pikmin 4. Because we haven’t had that as a main feature for the last 2 directs or anything.

@blindsquarel Maybe, I guess? They don't scream cross-gen system seller, though it could go either way.
I'm just hoping for a couple of things before the Switch fizzles out.
I never believed the Zelda remaster rumour before but both this one and the one before have had a shadowdrop of something from that period so I figure the next one will as well.
