@Sunsy It actually was a smartphone, just apparently it wasn't very good. It's actually lasted two years before it started to go haywire. I've never had an iPhone, I just happen to use Android phones since I've ended up with those. I used to have an iPod and we still have an iPad, but that's about it with whatever Apple devices we've had. That horse mask is indeed ridiculous, lol. Wonder what the horse guy's move set would be like?
Looks like you got more use out of that DS wrist strap than I did, lol. I remember Ridge Racer DS... I used to have that game and I thought it was pretty good at the time.
It was bad, yeah... it wasn't even that big of a deal just because I had a gosh dang rolling bag. That was back in my middle school days, and I still remember that to this day. You can't make this stuff up, lol. That's good no one got told off for that at your school. That's cool you use your Poppy backpack. No judgment from me whatsoever.
That's cool you saw Guardians of the Galaxy 3, I did see that you loved it, glad you did! I've not heard of Ferdinand. Yeah same here, I saw Mulan at one of my schools since we didn't have it at our home back in the day. I remember liking its story and setting. Quite a lot of other Disney movies I wanna see, too... I've been in a Disney mood lately.
Oh ok, didn't know some cellular companies put their names on some smartphones. That's cool, I use an iPhone. When we switched to smartphones, I suggested to mom to get an iPhone because she was familiar with the iPad, and I got one too in case she needed help I would learn from using mine. Yeah, I just figured it was like playing an FPS like a computer with the thumb nub on the wrist strap. Think of the arrows like the WASD keys, and the touch screen like the mouse. This was with the Metroid Prime demo that came with the system. Yeah, I enjoyed Ridge Racer DS, it was my first DS game.
Yeah, I really don't see the big deal with rolling bags, I always thought they were kind of neat. I do remember seeing some in character themes too, I think a Frozen one at Target once. Thanks, I always need a backpack to carry a few important things I need when I'm out (no it doesn't go into stores), so why not have one I like.
I did. I barely remember seeing a trailer to Ferdinand, I think when I saw the My Little Pony movie, but never saw it until recently. It was a very good movie, I recommend it. It's on Disney+, but it was a 20th Century Fox/Blue Sky movie since Disney bought out 20th Century Fox (except DreamWorks stuff, my Trolls Blu-Ray still says 20th Century Fox, despite the Universal logo is on the case). That's cool, recently, I watched the original The Little Mermaid again. Mom wanted to watch it so we watched that and the Sofia the First episode that Ariel appears in.
@Sunsy Phone issues for you too huh? Funnilu enough, my phone was one of my issues. It died randomly during normal use. Known motherboard defect with the make/model. Thankfully it was still under extended warranty, so I should have a free replacement coming tonight or tomorrow. Won't be able to set it up until next week though, so I'm on my old backup phone in the meantime.
Now I'm curious about Discovery Zone, so I might look up if the franchise is still operating lol. That airplane experience wasn't fun. Eight-year-old me was very confused.
Didn't realize The Sound of Silence was in the first Trolls movie; might have to watch it just for that lol. Gotta say, I'm not fully against Barb wanting to make rock/metal the be-all end-all music in the second movie. Though I understand that isn't the point lol. I do hope you enjoy the new movie!

Discovery Zone was like a Chuck E Cheese, complete with an indoor play thing, and they hosted parties. I do remember it, again, maybe was there once or twice. Sorry to hear.
Yeah, it was a fun scene. In the movies they do a lot of cover of classic pop, and in the sequel's case, some rock, songs. Haha, that's fine. My friend who wanted to see Trolls World Tour with me is into rock and loves Barb because of it. Actually gave him a Barb plushie as a gift once. Thanks, I have a feeling I will enjoy it.

@MarioLover92 I've ventured into the Depths a little lately, but mostly as a means to get to an area on the surface. Some general exploring too though. I think I'm at 71 Shrines now? 260ish Korok seeds I believe. I'm at least in the Eldin region now and hope to head to Goron City shortly, but there's still a LOT to explore in this area. XD Some side quests have sent me off track too.
Both the Pokemon and the Mega Man NT Warrior animes are part of my childhood lol. I think I watched the majority of the latter and watched the former up until it moved to Toonami/Cartoon Network partway through the Battle Frontier arc; we didn't have cable or satellite then. I had the same Yu-Gi-Oh exposure, though I've only seen 2/3 of the first anime. On paper I think I'd like Disney Illusion Island since I am a fan, but there are SO many other games to play....
I'm actually now running into storage issues on my backup phone in terms of apps since I can't move those to the SD card I added, but it's still enough for my photos and videos at least. Good news is my new phone stuff is finally in, so I hope to work on setting some of that up in a little while. I'd like to visit many other countries in Europe. My main problems are cost, distance, and time....
@Sunsy Hope your asthma is doing better. I'm guessing the wildfire smoke from Quebec definitely isn't helping.

I think that's what will entice me to eventually watch the Trolls movies: the music. I like a good song cover, especially if it's from a genre I like. In my fully biased opinion, your friend has good taste in music. I'm sure they appreciated the Barb plushie.

I feel like the DCU is gonna finally defeat the MCU as king of the superhero genre. Not only has Marvel been weak since Endgame, but I think James Gunn has an excellent vision for the universe and how he will tell those stories.

My only worry ( and I don’t think this will actually be the case) is that most of the stuff is rated R. Obviously some movies and shows will be, but I think the movies that are the core of the universe or tell stories of core characters should stick to PG-13.
Also anything related to Green Arrow shouldn’t cross that line, but that one is purely bias from my end.
