@EaglyTheKawaiiShika Yes! I agree with everything you said! Which makes it even odder that a team of animators animated Velma, but choose to make fun of it so much, some of the best animated movies and shows have no violence no cursing, yet there amazingly written, writing is vary important, and no matter how “adult” your try to make the writing, with F bombs or sexual jokes, it’s not going to mean jack if you can’t write it well.
Probably why shows like that feel like it was written by a bunch of edgy teenagers.
Nintendo are like woman, You love them for whats on the inside, not the outside…you know what I mean! Luzlane best girl!

@SlashFuture Thanks!....Though my day kinda got away from me, so Avatar will have to wait for another evening. Good news is it's still at my local theater for the next few days at least.
@EaglyTheKawaiiShika Honestly...I hadn't been. I've read enough now that I know what's going on though. I'm not familiar with that YouTuber, but that's very unfortunate news indeed. I hope he pulls through. Still, to lose your friend and brother like that....This thread moves so fast these days that I'm mostly replies only for now. Been very busy IRL. I'll drop our current subject.
@Sunsy The only LucasArts game I've played is Grim Fandango Remastered on the Switch. It was a very fun game with a great plot and setting, though I confess some of the puzzles were so convoluted that I eventually turned to a guide. I've heard of Higurashi, so I may look into it sometime.
Interesting....I'd probably like looking through a Five Below if I ever find one then. A quick web search shows they do exist in my region, but the closest is (surprise, surprise) over an hour away. The only times I frequent the discount stores I mentioned are for the few items that are cheapest to buy there or, in the case of Dollar General, in walking distance lol.
@SlashFuture
Yeah, I can not think of anytime in daily life that I will need to find the area of a triangle. Unless I decide to be an engineer or something.

I’m sure the schooling is insanely hard, but from what I’ve been told, it’s mostly automated these days.
( my dad co-owns a construction company, so this is according to him)
The Amiibo and figures I can imagine, but I still cannot fathom these games at a Five Below. Some of them are actually decent. The only games I could imagine being in a place like that are just cheap shovelware.
Indeed, they also had a Skylanders set at one point, and had Guitar Hero Live sets. Again really surprising.
I guess Charlotte's Web on GBA could qualify as "shovelware" I'd guess, being a quick movie tie-in. Though I do feel good licensed games do exist. Playing it recently, Smurfs Kart is pretty solid.
@Tyranexx Cool, most Lucas Arts games for me have been the older Star Wars titles. Have one from my childhood thanks to GOG re-releasing it, it's Rebel Assault 2. The Higurashi VN are on both Steam and GOG. Enjoy them if you ever play them. Remember you don't have choices, but it is a darn good story IMO.
Yeah that is an unfortunate distance. The store is just fun to look around in, I love seeing what character stuff they may have in stock. Dollar General are far and few between where I live, I only went into one once, and bought a My Little Pony book I didn't know existed. Dollar Tree is pretty close to where I live, less than five minutes. I love that they usually have character calendars. I've gotten Trolls and MLP calendars cheap from them. Unlike some dollar stores, I appreciate they sell the authentic licensed stuff.
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!

That’s why I said “cheap” shovelware, being poorly made and just plain bad.

@SlashFuture sadists who want high schoolers to suffer. Seriously though people just throwing stuff at the wall to see if they can understand reality better.
This sums why why they teach math in school. The whole point is to build up problem-solving skills.
In reality, nobody remembers how to do all those formulas. The only thing you really remember is addition, subtraction, multiplication, basic division, and stress.

Hey that new Minecraft article made me itching to play the game again. And I had an idea: a NL community server! It probably won’t take off so that’s why I didn’t make a new thread. But it’s a cool idea.
Edit: it would be in java bc it’s the only good version of Minecraft.
@Hayter Digital does have upsides, but I wouldn't recommend it for Nintendo published titles, quite simply because you tend to be able to get them cheaper from quite a lot of online stores. Basically, digital is better for getting niche titles but physical is way cheaper for triple A games.
I do get what you mean, it's so annoying hearing people say "I wanted this game for ages, but no physical, no buy" it's not the be all and end all.
Appreciate that you are actually willing to talk about this like a normal person, it seems to be a very emotional topic for many. I dont have anything against physical games either, I have a physical collection for old PC games and PS3 games, but dont see the point in carrying 86 cartridges with me when I go on trips. Yeah of course I dont play 86 games during that trip but I want to chose freely and having everything on one SD Card is much better for me.
1. Math doesn't make you feel bad, your teacher does. Treat it as a logical puzzle that's fun to solve.
2. If you don't understand it, try searching for solution on the internet. YT is filled with people who can explain things better than teachers
3. Use every piece of information in a puzzle. Nothing there is just for decoration.
4. If you feel that points 1 and 2 and 3 are not sound pieces of advice, don't listen to me. I have learnt that not listening to advice that doesn't sound legit is one of the most important skills you can have in life.
Here is how I would solve it:
180 - 67 is 113. That means (x-45)+(x-48) is 113.
those minus things bug us, so let's get rid of them. Since they lessen our x, it means that our X should be 113 PLUS our -45 and -48. Let's add it up. 113 + 45+48 = 206
This is how I would get to 206

@EaglyTheKawaiiShika Apparently that was posted by an intern. Tinybuild apologized, but it was still pathetic. I still have my doubts about that story. I think they were making a joke or just lying.
In other news, as of today, TotK comes out in 100 days. We’re in the final stretch.
@EaglyTheKawaiiShika That first part is really sad to hear, but I’m glad that he’s alive. I do wonder where he will go from here, or if he’ll even continue making videos.
I had no idea that Chris had a GoFundMe up, but it’s really nice to see that people are actually donating to it. I guess Twitter can do some nice things after all.

@EaglyTheKawaiiShika I woke up to those tweets and it was a huge shock for me. I hope that he's able to take a long break before making videos again. The amount of support he's been receiving has been great, though.
