I might sound a bit sentimental, but I'm very happy right now. That seriously made my day... Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, and the others will be all set to wish me a happy birthday!

@Sunsy Ah yeah... sometimes I get ads for things like that as well. Gambling doesn't interest me in the slightest, either, especially considering how incredibly risky and luck-based it can get. I'm perfectly content with my Nintendo/Mario collection, thank you very much. lol

Oh that's awesome your friend loved the game. If Nintendo ever does put out GameCube games somehow, that'd be cool to play Double Dash with you online. Perhaps we could do co-op together, too. I remember that broadband feature, that was pretty cool that they did that, though we never tried it out since we only had one GameCube. I wonder how they'd translate that mode to online, or if they decide to just give Double Dash an HD remake.

Yeah they could jump straight to making a new system after the Switch runs its course. Which is kind of what I'd prefer anyway. The Switch is still selling really well, and honestly, I'm in no rush to get a new console at the moment. My Switch from 2017 is still serving me well, and I mostly play on the TV.

Ah yeah I forgot about those old rumors! Not sure if it's considered a rumor, but I still remember reading about how Sonic and Tails were supposedly unlockable in Super Smash Bros. Melee. Apparently you needed to defeat 20 enemies in Cruel Melee, and they would show up for a battle... only they didn't! My 10-year-old self would have loved to unlock them, but Cruel Melee was and still is really tough for me, and didn't get much KOs if at all. That's OK that it turned out as an April Fool's joke, since that would have made me pretty frustrated if I kept going at it. lol

Also general Whites quest might be the worst part of any Mario game. A good 20-30 minutes of backtracking through places you’ve already been, only to find out he was in his house the whole time.
